Fanatec shifter - Sequential to H pattern switch not working

I am not able to switch my shifter from sequential to H mode when the game is already running.
I have to restart the game with the shifter set to H in order to be able to switch on the fly in game.
If I start the game with my shifter set to Sequential i am locked into that.

Please fix.

The issue has not been resolved. Now i am not able to enable the h shifter anymore.

Workaround:

  • Close the game
  • power off the wheel
  • power on the wheel
  • start the game
