In a few interviews it was brought up that the fanatec E brake would work in horizon 4. Currently there is a sensitivity slider, but the handbrake does not function. Handbrake is plugged into 2.5 hub, works in fm7 and dirt rally.
Not working for me on PC either. Plugged into CSL Elite base. Works in Forza 7.

Yes very disappointed, mine is plugged into my v3 pedals and also works on Xbox FM7, I thought this would have been supported for sure on Xbox FH4

I’ve got mine working using a custom wheel layout, but then I don’t get any FFB.

Someone please of please confirm the fanatec handbrake will work for horizon 4 for xbox one. I literally spent a good amount of $ on my simulator setup from fanatec. The handbrake works flawlessly with motorsport 7. There should be absolutly no reason it shouldnt work for horizon 4. Turn 10 heard our outcry for handbrake support for motorsport 7 they cannot be this stupid to not add it in this new game. If handbrake support is not available i will not purchase horizon 4 and i will post my fanatec clubsport wheel base v2.5, forza hub, v3 pedals, 1.5 handbrake and v1.5 shifter with 2 steering wheels and a playseat v2. All for $1000.00 u.s dollars. This is a $2,200.00 dollar setup at retail. So once again if the fanatec handbrake is not supported on forza horizon 4 for xbox one i will be getting rid of everything for $1k usd.
You spent over two grand on peripherals for Forza, on Xbox? Haha. Get a PC and play some real games with that setup.
And stop acting so petulant. It will almost certainly be patched in eventually, if it isn’t already fixed in the retail version. They won’t care that you’ll sell your setup, it’s no skin off of their nose. Just be patient. It’s not like the game is unplayable without the handbrake is it?!
Its a game. Ill play it on a gaming console, if i wanted a PC i wouldnt be asking now would i. And yes, yes it is very important that the handbrake works, for me it is extremely unplayable with out it. And ive played on PC before it really doesnt make much a difference when you actually spend time behind the wheel of a real car. The differences are very mimimal when it comes to sim racing on pc and console.

It actually works, very surprised. Havent been able to get goof ffb settings yet though
I’ve been playing for a couple hours and the my fanatec handbrake is not working, just started Forza 7 and its working fine, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that they fix it soon.

Good news the handbrake is now working. I normally start the xbox first but I thought let’s power up the wheel first (Fanatec V2) and bingo the handbrake is now working fine. I jumped in a couple of the drift cars and it works very nicely, adjusted the settings to 15 inner and 90 outside and so far so good, also checked it in non drift cars working perfect.
Didn’t need to do the start up this way in F7 but who cares as long as you can make it work.
Any chance any of you dudes are using multi-usb to verify if multi-usb support works on XB1X? I have the TX base and th8a shifter and I wanna buy the TSS handbrake +, but I’ve gotta know if M7 & H4 are working with both, since the TX base only supports one being plugged in, and the other needs to be usb’d.
