Fanatec CSW 2.5 Xbox wheelbase settings

Still looking for a more realistic setting with the new FFB. I haven’t seen any new settings since Dan the Dartman posted his for CSW 2.

Thanks! Mark

Hey Rad,

I will post my settings later today after I have a bit more track time to dial it in. Try and stick in the thread below so we can keep a grouped conversation. Keep in mind there are fixes and tweaks coming from T10 to correct some of the issues.

Transfix,

How do you know about “fixes & tweaks” from Turn 10? Sure hope you are right because everything I’ve tried to reduce the odd behavior of my wheel reduces road feel and doesn’t eliminate the twitching at high speed.

Forza monthly stream on 13th December. They said a bunch of fixes are being developed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oajxyjOBI00&t=109m

Thank you, that “stream” was very enlightening.

This is my current settings:

Thank you MST,

I use different wheel settings, mainly dri=-04 but game settings are the best I’ve tried. Do you get pretty hard kickback at the end of fast sweeping turns? And under hard turning, when you lose the front end it seems a very abrupt transition between traction and no traction.

So I’ve tried the setup that MST recommended and I really have no feel for the car or the road. And that’s a good setting because at least it “almost” eliminates the twitching. So I fired up Forza 6 and I’m thinking why the hell does this Viper have the same horrible FFB as the same car in Forza 7. Then I remembered I had all the wheel settings to tone down FFB so it wouldn’t twitch back and forth. Adjusted to my “normal” wheel settings and I won’t be back to Forza 7 untill the next update.

For starters you want mechanical trail at 200, align force 100-150 and lower the pneumatic as much as you can till it feels right (mine is 0).

My problem is that they completely diluted the feeling of when understeer begins, its all using audio to determine that now. And the twitching on any sweeper makes me want to blow my brains out. It feels so artificial and timed. On the Daytona oval embankments is terrible. Maple valleys first sweeper good lord so annoying.

Here are my settings as of today. May or may not work for you, but I have no shaking and I can drive almost as fast as I did before the update.

Crazy oscillations on straights are now gone but T10 still need to do their part
I have realized that I want to change settings for each car and its a pain when there is only one profile for settings in game.
