I am having the same problem, when I try to buy the expansion pack from inside the game it says “failed to download required marketplace data. Please Try again later” however when I go to the Xbox game store it will let me buy it for the 20 dollars. I have the Ulitmate edition and should be able to get the 10 dollars off but it does not show that in the Xbox game store.
I used the manage game method and it worked. Awesome and thanks for workaround!
Earlier today, players were having difficulty accessing Blizzard Mountain in game due to “Marketplace Errors.” After investigation, we have identified and fixed this error so players should no longer be seeing this error and should be able to access Blizzard Mountain expansion content as normal.

All went well with install , however the Ford Gymkhana 9 Focus RS RX and the International Scout 800A [figure this is a barn find] don’t appear in the Auto show … Is this the same for everyone … or do I have an issue? thanks

My forza is still in the load menu at the beginning. Been here for 20 minutes now. Screwed up after the update
its installed and ready, i go to the Airstrip, ready to play on the ice and takes ages to load up, what the hell is wrong

I’ve downloaded FH3 update and see Blizzard on the map, but if I enter I’cant download it. I don’t see the option to download Blizzard expanssion after going to manage game option. I have also option for pay even via XBOX apps on the PC and choosing xbox store. I don’t see Blizzard Mountain expansion. Can you check my account? After update FH3 I don’t have option Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass in the manager option of the game. Something is wrong. Can you check my account MS private 1. Either Expansion Car PASS and VIP gone to “Installed” and doesn’t show like before FH3 update in the menu to install (works - new cars and others had always been installed, but this expansions were always in “to-install” option).

I also have Problems with this. The expansion pass says installed, game awarded the vehicles for Blizzard Mountain, places the destination on the map, but when going to it, it flickers for a split second like it wants to install. I do not have the seemingly more commmon fix available in the “manage game” area. Pay a lot of money within the Forza franchise, hard to stomach more grief than that fact. I am willing to pay for good content, but it needs to work. Please help

Also I would like to add since this update Forza 3 has disappeared completely from my games on the pc … this is happening to alot of people … is anyone working on this?

Got this very helpful message trying to download the expansion “Blizzard Mountain” from the store.
I had purchased the expansion pass, then I went to the airfield. Activated the marker and the game crashed.
Tried to install the expansion, get this obnoxious message. “Hey, you’re game is $%#%ed… here’s how to fix it, yknow, if you want to play the game you just payed $30+ for.”
Exit from game.
On home screen on xbox when on the big Forza Horizon 3 tile, press the menu button, choose manage game. On the next screen find Blizzard Mountain in the ready to install list. Click on it and install now.
I don’t have any option to “manage game” on the Xbox app on Windows 10… where is this button?
Thanks for the reply, although after posting this I exited from the Windows Store completely and went back in and attempted the download a second time, and it worked.
No, I lied. It’s happening again. Any suggestions? I’m on PC.

My advice is for Xbox.
Hello All…Does anyone know how to access Blizzard Mountain? I purchased it a few days ago and it still will not show up on the map as well as at the airport…I have reinstalled and installed several times and still nothing…Thank you for your help!

I was given the Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracan Lp620-2 Super Trofeo in the Gift section. It shows up in my gallery, yet I cannot click on the car without getting the Marketplace error message. Can anybody explain what this is and why I’m getting it?
