I’m on PC, and I haven’t been able to play MP for at least a day now due to this error message: “Failed to acquire server data”. Can you please help me fix this?
Try this in powershell:
netsh interface Teredo set state disable
netsh interface Teredo set state type=default
This resets the Teredo adapter to default and restarts it. 9 out of 10 times it helps for me.
That didn’t work. Thanks for your suggestion tho
bump. Hello? can I please get some help with this? xbox support over the phone was useless.
Hi Apak SL. Looks like created another thread on this and didn’t see yours.
Being doing a lot of investigating on this. I think I found a fix. It worked for me. This video will show you the steps to set things right with something called a teredo network adaptor, How to Fix "Failed to acquire server data" in Forza Motorsport 7 - YouTube. The other issue I had was my Bitdefender firewall was blocking access. Once I did what was shown in the video and disabled my firewall I was able to access the leagues with no issues. Last thing I’ve got to figure out is how to set a rule in Bitdefender to I don’t have to keep disabling my firewall. Hope this helps you out!
This solution from FH3 always helps me: 1. Run command Prompt as administrator 2. Type “netsh” and press enter 3. Type “int teredo” and press enter 4. Type “set state disabled” and press enter 5. Type “int ipv6” and press enter 6. Type “set teredo client” and press enter
I also get this error message when I’m using a VPN but then this solution doesn’t work.
make sure the IP HELPER SERVICE is running will fix the problem, put it on auto!
Also make sure your firewall isn’t blocking access. That was at least part of my issue.
