Well, i never was a tuner, so i always opted for a tuning tool, i.e. the tuning App. The tune app (Android) already has FH 2023 as an option.
I was super unhappy with a car and asked the app. What the app suggested works very well for me. However, the changes from factory setup where at a scale i have never seen before. Especially around everything suspension. In a way it was IMHO just punishing for people not familiar with setups.
I accept that in a racing game the initial setup is not best for everyone, but this bad? This way off?
Yeah, there’s seconds in lap time on the table even for amateur tuners like myself. Stock cars have pretty poor grip and understeer/oversteer in both entry and exit respectively.
I’m awful at tuning. I used an app for that but it hasn’t updated for the new game yet. I wish they’d hurry because the tuning app helped me a lot.
Which tuning app?
This isn’t new to Forza, but it is a shame. Stock vehicles feel like they “wallow” around, too soft on the springs and almost no sway bars at all. This is noticeable more so when you have driven some of the cars IRL vs in game. A 2001 M5 should not wallow around like a mid '70s Lincoln, even if it is stock.
for Android: ForzaTune / ForzaTune Pro (Pro is € 5,49). I use Pro and the free version has some less features and you can’t save tunes to optimize later.
Interesting, I definitely need to get more into tuning.
