I was working on a vinyl group a minute ago, and it was looking great. I was really happy about it, especially considering I was close to finishing it. Then, I went to choose a different shape from the primitives, and somehow end up selecting deltete all layers, and I accepted the prompt. So that’s two hours gone, I’ve got most of it saved, it kills me though, seeing as it was the more intricate bits I was close to completing. Ah well, it’s funny in a not really all that funny way.
Anyone else have any of those moments where you want to slam your face into a desk?
Sam here but there was an incident that caused that. It wan in Forza 4 and I was almost done with the Rallye Monte Carlo numberplate and I clicked delete all layers. Boy was I [Mod edit - WSD, Profanity]!
I spent over an hour doing a new Vinyl, went to save it and it won’t save, keep pressing the A button in the SAVE Menu but nothing, tried to overwrite another vinyl because it would have been easier to re do the other one but wouldn’t let me, so had to come out of it and lost it all, so decided to do a couple of setups and low and behold can’t save those either.[Mod edit - WSD, Profanity] are they doing over there, this game is getting to be as glitched as Battlefield 4. Here’s one for you Turn 10, when doing an update check everything works properly before you [Mod edit - WSD, Profanity] up the game.
It wasn’t a glitch, it was me not paying attention to what I’m doing. And that honestly sounds more like a system rather than a game issue. But I’ve been wrong before.
This exact thing happened to me too! I don’t remember there being a confirm button, and that’s why i was annoyed. I did it right at the last part of the design, it was the first decent thing I had made on Forza 5.
I mashed every button on my game pad jut to me sure it wasn’t possible to undo it. I wasn’t even upset about it, it was more humorous than anything. It’s like fighting a low level enemy on Dark Souls and backward rolling off a cliff. lol
Yeah… I had a T10 pick livery on the Audi R18 LMP that no longer exists. I was looking through my designs to see how many downloads I had on stuff, no idea what I hit but I completely erased it! Gone from my garage car, saved designs, or shared designs. Worst part is it was featured on the Audi website and I got an email from a guy on the old Champion Racing USA team saying he loved it. I had to laugh, if only to keep from crying XD
Spend 7 hours working on a car.
Make a 2 shape block for a decal/graphic and save to vinyl groups so you can edit in vinyl editor
Quit out of “apply vinyl”
Then realise once you see the car in the design screen that you never saved and there is no prompt to ask you to save design once you have saved a decal!! ARGHHHHHHH!!!
Not priceless
The worst is when you get your dang game save corrupted! It is the worst that could happen to a painter. Repeating the races again, not a prob. Recreating all of those lovingly created paints from scratch? For the 2nd time? That completely ruins your motivation . . . for few days until you realize they are gone for good and there is no way of getting them back. At least in FM4 people can GIFT back what you have gifted them (good things happen to those who do good things). In FM5 there is no other option but to remake them.
Many times when one is painting you get so obsessed by it you forget about saving!
i had that last nite, but was half way on a paint doing the design no logo work yet and it came up with xbox needs to update and after update BOOM!! all work gone. So i was like pfff that can now wait
I did it a few times on FM4, really felt like shooting myself afterwards lol. I tend press the buttons way to fast sometimes though but FM5 is a little less responsive.
