Been meaning to post this for a while now, but only now am I getting around to doing it. I bought Motorsport 3 sometime last year since I’d never played it when it first came out. Figured it would be good to play it since I’ve played nearly all of the new Forzas. Anyway, the game came with a code for some extra tracks and cars. I know it’s unused since I tore off the cover strip myself. However, I’m always given a message that the code is invalid when I try to redeem it. Xbox support was not much help. Any suggestions? I’ve tried it a few times already.
Unused codes are no longer valid since the game was delisted from the marketplace some time ago
It is still possible to redownload content purchased previously and that which is stored on your XBOX360 hard drive
The most content it is possible to install as of now is via a two disc copy of the ‘Ultimate Edition’ This excludes preorder packs and the ‘Top Gear’ stuff
I recently managed to pick a pre owned copy up for 2.50 in England. You might have luck over the internet in getting hold of one but might have to pay a bit more. However, the base copy of the game is very playable in single player and the online servers still mostly work for shared content, auction house and private lobbies
Okay, gotcha. Didn’t realize codes stopped working once a game is de-listed. I’ll keep an eye out for the ultimate edition. I’m playing the normal version right now and it’s fun just like the newer games
