people are hosting the goliath race but changing it to 10+ laps in online freeroams and taking like 3 hours to complete and gaining like 20+ lvls at a time i think need to be fixed eather make it a sprint or limit the laps down to 1

if people want to spend all day doing one race and get the reward for doing so, I say let them.
I personally don’t have that much free time, and don’t want this game to be po9intless in a month so I pace myself. heh

It’s not really an exploit since they’re wasting 3 hours to get said XP.
If you want you can waste 3 hours doing different races back to back, and you’ll probably win the same amount of XP as them (maybe less since theres loading screens and menus in between - but you get the idea)

Am I using an exploit by doing 800k skill chains for 30 minutes ie about 5 of them?
Usually during a skill song so my multiplier goes up to 12x.

I have had the skill multiplyer up to 16. Convoy, the x6 Skill, and During a skill song. 5 million Skill points easily in 30 minutes.
Use a skill boost horizon car and it reaches x24. Trust me the xp you can get is good but it’s capped somewhere around 300k as in horizon 2 style.
You can get a maximum of 1,000,000 skill chain. I was on a roll in the farms outside SP during a skillsong and suddenly it stops and rewards me 1,000,000 points in the midst of the action. That was in a stock Ford T6 Rally Raid. The HE skill bonus cars probably get you there faster though so you can probably start a second chain on the same song. 
You’re doing something wrong then, because I’ve had several that were over 1mil.
But you are limited to 3 skill points from any skill chain, so going over 300,000 is pointless (literally lol). During skill songs, I quickly fast-travel out to the fields area in the middle of the map and then drift around until I’ve got 28,000 x 12 (or around there) and then bank it. Then I rinse and repeat. On a five minute song, I can usually get about 12-15 skill points using this method. If I really wanted to, I could “buy” a skill song over and over and slowly build skill points, but I really don’t see much point in doing that. Skill points are easy to come by. Just like Credits, XP, and Fans … all just take time and racing.
Listen to this guy, he’s right. Technically you can net far more than the 1,000,000 and even longer than the song lasts aslong you don’t break the chain (I had 7 million once) but you won’t see more than the 3 skill points from it. To add something to the discussion: play Timeless (classic pieces usually are a bit longer ; ) - I had a 20min skill song a few days ago. Do your 25,000x12 (=300k), claim, repeat.
true! got a skill chain over 1 million too, x12 got me a skill chain record of 13.5 millions but only 3 or 4 skill points in the end wich i can get with two 1 minute skill chain of 200k for exemple
so its no point doing a skill chain that big except to break a record 
as for the Goliath Race i did 5 laps 2 times already and got 30 level up each time, dont see whats wrong with that, everyone’s free to do as they please in their free time
I don’t see how anything that takes 3 hours, can be considered an “exploit”…

XP is limited per hour. You can do Goliath or something else, you don’t like it, do something else.

I gotta agree with the general feeling here because I would be looking forward to those sort of endurance races on the Goliath track and if you want to put the effort and hours in then sure give us the XP.

55 Minutes later, 850K CR, 350K XP, 800K Fans, 25 Skill Points.

I’m confused. How is this even an exploit. its a legit race people want to do. An exploit is something like a glitch like NFS had when you back the car ontop of parked vans and sit there and get XP that’s an exploit. Legit racing isn’t an exploit. That’s something people choose to do is 10 laps around the map.

Couldn’t agree more. Long races for more XP is NOT an exploit! I do them all the time, and I’m at level 351 because of it.

not the fact of people doing it but lobby blocking where there is only one person doing the race for 3 hours so everyone has to leave coz someone wants a few extra levels
