Given that Forza Horizon 5 features seasons again, 4 weeks equal roughly one year in-game. What I would love to see is a world that is actually evolving. There are some houses that are being built right now, for example in Guanajuato, it would be great if those were finished one day, or entirely new houses would be built in the world.
Exactly! The Evolving World feature was supposed to be a big part of the game, but they don’t use it very often.
The biggest request aside from new and updated car models is to keep the map updated to maintain excitement and gameplay value. This involves making permanent additions to the base map in the game such as:
- New roads and highways added to the existing base map.
- Neighboring islands and downtown cities - connected to the base map with simple road networks.
- New homes or garages in those areas
- The oval racetrack from the Midnights at Horizon update.
- The VFX/ Sky Lighting fro Winter Wonderland.
- Bring back the Dragon Drone.
- Live Tram/Metro/Skytrain as seen and experienced in FH3
- More variety & Realistic civilian AI traffic cars, buses and trucks models from manufacturers as seen in NFS and The Crew.
These additions would add so much more depth and replayability to the game seeing that people who started playing FH5 since its launch may have gotten bored with the base map. There’s only so much you can do with just new cars alone in the game. Gameplay environment really matters too IMO.
While this suggestion is not perfect, any suggestions and ideas to realize this are always welcome !!
1, 2, and 3 for sure!
As someone who has made quite a number of custom race blueprints I’ve been dealing with burnout for months because it always comes down to using the same few roads.
If I want to connect two different roads I often have to make a huge detour or build custom sections, if I can find places for them to fit. Not being able to reverse the starting grid limits options even further.
The majority of the roads in Mexico are dull, bland, and have been driven thousands of times.
The way to keep Horizon exciting is to expand the world along with the garage. An extra 500-odd cars kind of loses something when we have the same boring flat roads to drive them on.
I want to drive further north into the mountains. I want to drive further northwest following the coast into the desert. I want to see new sights and explore more roads.
Still extremely irritated Rally Expansion is not connected to the Mexico map! It’s a great area but it’s so dang small, it could have complimented the main map if they were linked by a road or two!
Oh, and PLEASE bring back trains which actually go across the map and have road crossings. FH3 and 4 did this wonderfully. FH5’s train is about pointless, not a single road crossing to speak of.
Edit to add: How about seasonal flooding across the roads, too? When the snow melts off of the volcano it all must go somewhere. The flooded roads in FH4 were awesome fun!
