Everything Forza Related Seriously Slow...?

I don’t know if this is some weird thing just happening to me or what but everything Forza related seems slow as poop! The forum is horrendous to use and often requires multiple refreshes to load everything. The pre-load took FOUR days to download running at 4MB/s (I have a 70d/l, 30u/l connection!).

Is it just me or is this a general problem? The forum itself is almost un-useable and while I attempt to use it, Facebook, Stanceworks and every other website run flawlessly.

Is this a well known problem or am I a special case?

I’ve always had trouble trying to load this forum a lot of the time I just give up, didn’t have a problem with the pre order though that download OK.

The forum has been rather unstable for the past week or so, ManteoMax said that Turn 10 are aware of this.

As for the pre-load, that would depend on Microsoft’s servers for their store, not Turn 10’s. For comparison’s sake my pre-load took about 6 hours on Friday at 20mbps.

FM6 is out in days, expect delays here as they are most likely behind the scenes doing roadworks on the forums

You’re in good company because this site is extremely slow to load for me as well. It seems intermittent, though. My download of the game went rather smoothly, in contrast.

I appreciate that the slow download may not be Turn 10’s issue directly. I paused the download yesterday and downloaded the Fifa 16 demo in around 12 minutes. I left my console on overnight again and then checked the bandwidth usage this morning. Between midnight and 5am, I was downloading around 6Gb an hour which is an improvement.

It’s not you. This place is slower and clunkier than the worst click-bait on the internet.

Same here. Forum loading is awfull, other downloading seems fine. Had a problem with axcessing photo’s on FM5 too, but it came back this morning and come and go.

Slow as a tranquilised hippo. Maybe when Bob out the back has quit shifting files around it will get back to its normal sluggishness. It’s so bad at the moment it’s even eating posts, just like the bad old days.

Same here. Forums and the site in general is a mess right now. I’m hoping it’s just because they are doing updates for FM6 and that it’ll become more stable in the next week or two.

These forums have always sucked for speed, they are the only forums i’ve ever been on that chug along so slowly barely loading stuff up, it’s aweful, and hasn’t been fixed in ages. Why we get this blackest of blacks layours with every so dark and danky I have no idea…wish it would just change to GT Planet layout and some kind of Vbulletin software, rather than this aweful dump of a forum software lol.

At least it’s not me struggling on this forum. It was even down many times a few days ago.

Taking ages on the forum here too,and the game took ages to d/l, but then my internet runs at 0.7MB/s at MAX :frowning:

I’ve found the site and forums work a little better if you use IE or Edge to access them.

Edit: Just as I post this, they start hanging on IE and Edge as well. I don’t know why they just can’t go back to the old forums. It’s obviously too much to integrate the Forza rewards score and avatar in the forums. Just too much stress on the system.

OP, About the issues you’re having with the forums, no you’re not alone. They’ve worked horrendously for me lately requiring multiple refreshes at times to get anything to load properly.
