No matter how pristine my lap is its immediately disqualified on the lap board. During the first week of release when the ‘disqualified’ triangle would show up as soon as you did something that disqualified your lap mine was appearing immediately after crossing the start line. This wasn’t happening for friends, they’d have to go off track or have contact to be disqualified. We can’t figure out what I’m doing differently that’s disqualifying every lap.
Anyone else having this issue?
Are you using Super Easy settings or friction assist on
That could be the reason
I’ve never turned on any of the super easy or friction assist settings but I do know that at least in the case of friction assist any laps ran will not post. Not counting when you use that option makes total sense because it gives you grip that should not be there and would allow you to be faster than you should. The other super easy ones I do not know about, in theory they should make it easier to drive but also potentially slower and if so may allow you to post a time. I know int he past auto braking could be used and still post a time as I saw some friends doing that
Drafting/being drafted also dirties a lap.
IS this happening with other cars on the track or in solo? you have to try solo tbh cos if there’s any other car anywhere near u it basically invalidates the time due to drafting
having the same problem, frustrating running laps that would be top 1000 but instead there more like 15000 because it dirties my laps no matter what. Ran 11 flawless laps on an oval and it gave me the triangle next to best lap. Ive ran nearly 100 races and no matter what it counts my laps as dirty. I expect better from turn 10 and forza. Get it together guys or I’m going back to gran turismo on ps4 after being loyal to forza since day 1.
Turn OFF friction assist
A dirty end to the previous lap also seems to dirty your next one. Makes sense, as you could take extra speed into the start of the lap by taking an illegal line into the final corner.
