Tried this challenge twice today and it won’t complete sadly, not sure what is wrong with it.
Anyone else having the same problem ?

But seriously it could just be another random “feature” (aka bug). Some things to try if you haven’t already…
Full restart of Xbox. And adopt the habit of never using Resume feature for this game.
Try in both Solo and Live modes (sometimes does the trick for the odd bug)
I guess, just in case, you have tried “outfits” and not just a “jacket” or some other single item ? Then again, this game, by “any outfit” it might not mean “outfit” at all and require changing some other single item.
Finally, sometimes, coming back the next day (a full cycle of the game day reset) fixes similar too. And you do have a full 7 days for a Daily challenge, even if it goes into the next Season (and even the next Series, I think 
).

What did you do, exactly? I already had an outfit on, but changing it and changing it back worked fine.
doesn’t work if you put on an outfit and immediately change back into something else, need to put it on, go back to the menu, then go in and change it again if you want
otherwise, yeah, harsh language

Yeah, I was thinking after there was a similar buggy thing a while back where you needed to change something and leave garage before it registered as actually having changed the thing. Great suggestion !

For what it’s worth, having a minute to jump in the game…
Xbox One, already in an Outfit, changed Outift before leaving garage. Still in garage, checked in Festival part of menu, Daily done.
So, it can work that easy, but hardly surprisingly in this game, not for everyone.
If I had to guess, I’d say it’s the “changing” from one Outfit to another Outfit that triggers it.
It worked for me okay. Did you definitely put something on from the Outfit tab rather than some other items of clothing?
That actually did work for me on XSX.

Yes, later noticed that in a youtube video, that the english version said outfit, the Swedish translation is garbage, and often wrong, and also i havent bothered much with this menu, so i was unaware of this tab sadly. On the Swedish version it said : Change clothes in the customizer. Its not easy being a new FH5 player, since so many things have changed since FH4, and add to that crappy translation, and the confusion grows and grows sadly.

Glad you got it sorted ! Hadn’t even considered the language possibility. This game is also quite infamous for getting simple translations badly messed up and causing no end of grief and issues for users in other SUPPORTED languages. So, while not a surprise here it’s still very disappointing.

I agree these shouldn’t be happening, for any sort “puzzle” clue or tasks like this the language has to be right, however these things aren’t always that simple without context for the translation. You’ve got the standard problem with English where you ask someone to put the kettle on and the person reading the translation will be wondering on what part of body would you wear a kettle. Then you add in the game specific terms which really alter the translation and I can see where issues come from.
It’s possible… but… I’ve yet to see an example where even the laziest google translation fails as badly as whatever the devs are doing. And there have been a few if not several. And they SHOULD be able to handle contextual translation on the fly. Or at the very least be able to check it and realize an error and fix it BEFORE it goes live. Even this week for example…
Dropping the English “Equip any outfit in character customizer.” into google gets “Utrusta alla kläder i karaktärsanpassare.” and testing that boomeranging in google gets back “Equip all outfits in character customizer.” So yes, there is a small ‘error’ between any vs all, but it didn’t mess up outfit for clothing. And again, it should be expected that the devs can handle simple translations for supported languages, flawlessly. They don’t. And a simple check proves it. Time and again.
