Environment - Red & white trackside flags have inverted normals/messed up textures

In addition of the seams issue that already affect nearly half of the tracks in the game (Environment - Track seams can be seen on some tracks - Road America, Suzuka & Maple Valley - #25 by TheMAK11) the absolutely useless flags which where added to the track have their normals inverted (it looks like a busted AO map) . Somebody messed them up when modifying them because the other ones in the game which are the exact same mesh but have a texture applied to them unlike those don’t have this issue.

Turn10 absolutely doesn’t care because the just released track trailer has clear shots showing those broken flag meshes as if everything was OK. :weary:

The trees on the sides also look very off - forested and wrong in Nordschleife when compared to IRL and GT7. Makes it look like a jungle

Yeah, definitely something strange going on there. Either inverted normals, incorrect smoothing angle, or possibly doubled-up geometry would be my guesses.

I’ve just noticed that those messed up flags are all over Mid-Ohio Sports Circuit. And from the looks of it have always been like that.
You can see them in the track reveal video.
Who ever at Turn10 thinks that they look right should quit it’s job. What the hell is this?

Still the same after Update 6

Those are fine:

But the red & white are not:

And it’s been like than since before the game was launched as seen the the promo video I posted above…
Surely this is easier to fix than all the track seams no ??:thinking:

Not fixed after Update 7
