I would like to see the option to start up the car and also being able to turn off the engine. This would make the crusing a lot more realistic. For example when you arrive at your destination and park there then turning the engine off and when you want to drive again have a nice engine start up.(rev to 3k rpm?)

if the car can turn off, in manual W/Clutch mode you can stall the car which would be more realistic
It would be cool if the car could remain stationary for a longer period (for example, 15-20 seconds) and automatically shut off the engine. To resume driving, one would just need to press the accelerator pedal, and the engine would start, allowing for continued driving. It would be great if some attention could be given to this aspect.
NFS was that way. It was really cool!
