The worst thing I did in a driving game was have it on Gran Turismo so up on right stick was throttle and down was brake. The licenses were soooo brutal but in my head I could finally control how much power I was applying.
I kind of can’t. They stripped out a lot of the game that I utilized in an effort to funnel people into these online modes.
I believe it is possible for a hardcore racer and a casual car experience to co-exist within the same game, but PGG clearly doesn’t. So I’ve got to battle and fight to gain attention as opposed to leaving well enough alone. Normally I can do that without gatekeeping other players, but a line has to be drawn somewhere if I want to prevent this trend of removing traditional racing structure from the game for the sake promoting modes I dislike. Voluntarily removing throttle control because they find that preferable crosses that line.
If it was for the sake of accessibility, I’d be 100% behind it. But it’s not.
Misogyny is strong in you.
What?
