Hello everyone! I’ve been playing Forza since the original, but have never really gotten into the forum side of things. Figured I may as well give it a shot, eh?

To be clear right up front, my definition of “race-inspired” is not (usually) a direct replica of any particular paint.

I have been a huge fan of auto racing my entire life, from Nascar to F1 to Rally to Drift. These liveries are therefore all inspired by some form of racing, usually with my own twist. Of course, I must leave myself some room for exceptions, so bear with me if every single one is not directly race related.

Thanks! I only dabbled in painting pretty much through F3 and half of F4. Only really started getting into it last summer. It’s quite addicting. I just wish I had more time to put into making a larger library of sponsor decals (you’ll notice they’re pretty restricted between just a couple). Ah well, it’s a work in progress.

That Jurassic Park E21 is awesome. Great work on the logos.

Thanks BCK! I’m actually working on a Dallara right now (not JP), but it’s taking forever with the wonky zones. One day I’ll be able to get it up here with the rest.

Just do varied paints and you will build up an arsenal of logos in no time. I thought it would take forever to rebuild at first but now I am so surprised as to how many logos I have. Just keep your chin up and don’t stop, trust me, you are off to an amazing start!

Finally finished my Dallara livery! Unfortunately I’m trying to play catch-up and am going around taking photos of all of my old designs so that I can add them first.

Chances are, look for a sizeable update sometime Friday afternoon/evening (GMT -4).

In addition! - Feel free to offer feedback on the style of my posts/pictures/labeling. I’ve just kind of been doing it however made sense, but if there are suggestions on making it better, then by all means I will take considerations.

In retrospect, I must really like the Weds TC 105’s. Apparently I use them a lot. haha

With that update I am all (mostly) caught up on designs! So, I will now be updating less-regularly as I create new monsters.

One last update while it’s still the weekend. Continuing to play around with negative-space vinyls. A little more subtle with it this time.

In the interest of saving you guys a scavenger hunt through my now lengthy photo section, I will post a quick preview of what I add to the original with my update notices.

1995 Ferrari F50

One of my favorite cars since always. I’ve had a pretty plain and lackluster design on the thing since launch that was just nowhere near doing the car justice, so I decided it was time for a refresh. Made the outline of the Ferrari logo first, and just sort-of went with it as I painted. Quite happy with how it turned out, given how spontaneous it was in execution. A tad retro, a tad Ferrari, and 100% cool.

Saw this design on a toy car in a Salvation Army over the weekend, and couldn’t resist. Model wasn’t quite the same, but the basic feel is about right.

In the interest of keeping my fans…uh…interested, I here is a sneak peak of something I’m working on. No time frame on when it might be done though, pretty busy with classes.

You’ll just have to wait and find out. But! Here’s a hint: those colors are used somewhat by the eventual (haven’t made the sticker yet >_>) sponsor.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you are dodging school-work or studying.

On a somewhat related note, I had never heard of the Snowbird ski resorts until a kid sat in front of me wearing a hoodie with the logo a couple weeks ago. I really liked the simple lower-case font and how clean it all was. Tossed it onto my list of future liveries, and then just moved it to the top instead. The colors are fun, and something about the rough design was just screaming to be on the M3 GT2 in my head, so I made it happen.
