No. It isn’t the same game. Minecraft SM is made by telltale games. Not Microsoft/Mojang. It’s got to be the actual Minecraft game. The question that should be asked is,
Minecraft bedrock edition , or Minecraft Xbox One Edition?

So, we would have to buy Minecraft ($19.99 US) for one Driver Gear!!! Based on the reviews, it would be hard to justify.

$20 is better than the $60 for halo or gears.
But anyway I got lucky since I had minecraft on PC, and minecraft 360 edition, I got minecraft xbox one edition for free. Because of this, I got Bedrock for PC free, Then because of all that, I got the bedrock edition for xbox one free as well.

Good for you! Lots of freebies! My suits for Halo on eBay were a little over a buck, so, did not need to buy the game.

I think it was available only for a limited time, but if you had the original Xbox One edition of Minecraft you were automatically gifted the new version. The new version is a port that allows cross-play with Windows, Mobile, and Nintendo Switch (and possibly PlayStation 4 if Sony ever decides to join the party.)

I dont think you have to even play the game. I got the halo and gears suits and have never played them. I think the end up sending them out to everyone eventually.
Not sure about that! I also got the Halo suits, yet, had to buy them on eBay.

Did you actually get ALL of the halo and gears suits…some were sent for doing certain rivals events in fm7…there was also some sent in xbox live codes for playing those games
I actually did. I was fully expecting to miss out the two suits that require actually playing the games but eventually they ended up in my inbox.
My thoughts exactly. I was hoping for a demo, but it appears one is no longer available.

You can still get an account, then, get the demo to your pc (not the Xbox), however, no feature for GT or tracking…so…no way T10 will know you’d played it, and, then providing you with the Driver Gear.

Turn 10 Driver Gear suit
This suit won’t be visible in the menu to anyone outside the studio, but you can see some developers wearing it (like JONK1969) when you select them from a Rivals event leaderboard and Watch Replay, or race them in a multiplayer lobby.
