Each time to get to a decent score, either 3 or more racers run into you, or you run into another bloody traffic jam. I think i’ve been trying to get to 50k score for 8 hours straight now… record is 43 thus far.
Debating getting rid of the game over this.
So who’s bright idea and shitty programming made this abscess of a game mechanic come to life? And fire him please.

P.s. Also! While i’m on a rant anyway. Who did you get to write the script for the barn finds… seriously they pop up every 3 minutes or so.
It reminds me of fallout 4 Preston garvey (pre patch) General a new barnfind requires your assistance… i’ll mark it on your map!
It’s the little things that get to you, and this game has a lot of little annoyances.
They are much easier to do online in freeroam as there is no drivatars, you will have to deal with the traffic though but they’re at least way more predictable
Do us all a favour and return the game, before you eat your own words.
Quality of this game is just as high than previous games (if not higher), seems like you’re letting some petty issues ruins the whole experience for you.
I may repurchase if they give the option to disable anna.
When i’m in the middle of a drift i don’t need some “c*n ehhm lady” telling me there’s a bonus board nearby.
Well, I do agree the drivatars and traffic are annoying, but that shouldn’t keep you from hitting 3 stars with a stock vehicle. Top 1% scores maybe, but top 100s are easily done in traffic with a good tune. The bucket lists are too easy IMO. The hellcat score is a joke. Way too easy compared to the Audi bucket lists.
What I want to complain about how much of this game is based on Drifting at all. I personally have always thought of drifting as silly, you can’t go fast going sideways, but to each his own. But this time, I think, there is way too much progression in the game based on it. I guess I am now going to either have to learn to do it or leave half of the game incomplete. I find that sad in a way and I rank this right up there with Forza Bowling as a questionable design decision.
Yes, I might have exaggerated a bit. But still, a good portion of the Bucket Lists and the PR Stunts are some kind of Drifting. I have played enough now that I have unlocked some of the Drifting multipliers and gotten the M2 HE car with the Drift multi also. Let me see how I can do with those.
The random drivitar traffic in the drift zone challenges are annoying at times yes. But that’s no need to return the game man, you’re taking it too far lol -__-
Glad im not the only one who feels that way. The drivatars in this game are sooo annoying that I stopped playing all together. Every time I try to beat my skill chain or drift zone score I get rammed by drivatars… worst thing is that they just spawn up out of thin air. Its like they’re stalking me and know right when I enter a zone. Next thing you know 4 cars doing a buck twenty round blind corners into oncoming traffic slam into me head first.
Out of all forza horizons this one is the worst imo. No CPLs like horizon 1 makes online an epic fail and huge waste of time… they also got rid of all my favorite cars that drew me to the forza franchise in the first place. No windy mountain roads or steep incline/declines like redrock from horizon one. Half the game is offroad racing which is more like the game Dirt than forza. Still no s14…
Mainly the lack of gameplay customization is what turned me away. Sure we can paint cars and add widebodies, but all that is useless when you can’t find likeminded people online to race with or can’t even enjoy single player free roam. I didn’t even bother with the campaign because I got tired of driving a stupid suv lamborghini offroad for multiple races
i managed to get thrppugh all of them except two in the southwest. i really hate drifting. tried them for hours, no idea how to get 70k in that zones.
i am a completionist and it really drives me crazy…
If you fast travel it takes a while for traffic to spawn at time. (Least the drivatars–the normal traffic is doable.
Also when more or one drivatar are doing it- it often pays to abort and follow them so you are in sync with what they are doing instead of constantly swimming uphill against the current
I’m not the greatest at drifting but I’ve been making had way on the 3stars on PR stunt achievement even doing a couple in C class car
I am withdrawing my previous comment. I 3starred all of them last night in single player without as much experimenting or retuning or retrying as i expected.
They are too easy.
Just find a couple of cars/tunes that drift well on tarmac/dirt and go for it.
