Any car can be a good drift car, doesn’t matter of its basic composition from factory from any brand. What matters is the target numbers at which you can make a vehicle achieve, power to weight, weight distribution, width of the vehicle, year of the vehicle <doesn’t sound like much but it does when it comes to tire compound choices, ect. Lots of factors change what would be a good beginner vehicle for sure, but that’s for the driver to figure out, ask basic questions, get basic answers. Ask more complex questions like I’m shooting for 52-53% weight distribution, 2750lbs, specific type of power delivery aka I6 / v6 / v8 / v12 / flat plane’s / blah blah, basically show you’ve done more research then just asking for a simple tip and you will get much better results, older players like my self are more then willing to share that in-depth knowledge to help wean down on what type of vehicle you should be looking towards. Most importantly, what are you asking of the vehicle, high angle sustain, high angle and speed, shallow but faster lines, full track or D1 sections or style of sections, fast initiations, slower transitions and so on. Does it sound like an a** load of work, hell yes, that’s what really starts to separate quick dollar machine auto responses to “builds” and “tunes” and “manufactures” hell even go a step further and post a vid of you driving on your own tune by yourself and post the name of the replay so the people who care can go watch it and skim through it. It is much more complex then what it’s starting to turn into over the years, its turned basic with a sport that is very far from it in missiles and in competition.
i have a good set up for my car, its just when i drift to the right, after i complete my drift, the car will lurch violently to the left, is there any way to stabilize the car so I can hold the drift longer
without lurching?
catch me online and we can start a party or you can join my discord channel i made for people to leave some messages that I can respond to. Discord
Basically what it sounds like is you need to slow down the rotational force from weight being slung from one side to another which overpowers mechanical traction. There is a lot I could explain but I’d rather do it with you directly and live that way you can test some settings while in game and I can help dial you in to what your problem is. I’m around a lot bud.
