What’s a really good drift car besides the rx7?
I’m pretty new to drifting, but I currently use a BMW E36 M3 and that works really nice. It’s all down to personal preference though. The next car I’m going to be trying is a Mk2 16v Golf when I really understand the tuning for drifting
For beginners, its best to use a car as close to a 50% weight distribution as possible. When selecting a car if you press down on the D pad twice it should bring up the weight/balance of the car. Its best to start there until you get the hang of transferring weight while drifting. Tuning is also HUGE for how a car handles, try do find a tune that suits you well
i use a range of drift cars like. mustang ae86 bmw e30 audi rs4 nissan s15 240sx
Hey if you enjoy drifting I thought putting a short drifting video together let me know what you think - YouTube
Firstly, @REALITYxINFERNO, I never knew that someone on FH2 would even attempt to powerslide an AWD silvia while using traction control. I see that as something that shouldn’t even be considered, or possible for anything over 40mph, but it’s what you want to do. And I don’t want to turn this thread into an argument as to how you should drift.
Secondly, to answer the original question, no doubt the Skylines and the Mustangs are go-to cars because of their notoriety for being great cars to drift in previous Forza games, but most Japanese imports are great cars to drive, like the Impreza’s or even the Mistubishi Evo X. Give those a go to see how good they are compared to your FD.
