Alright then. I had FM4 though and I don’t remember any drift stuff.
Got a car for me to do it in? My Baja isn’t exactly a powerhouse, nor is the power split very good for getting and staying sideways.
I’d like to see you pick good lines at race pace while trying to pass and not get passed on a track that changes lap by lap and may have two or three totally different types of surface at various points, plus all of various obstacles that are machine built or develop naturally throughout a race day.

As someone who has thousands of hours between 2 accounts on FM7 drifting, this is somewhat disappointing. I’m glad they are at the least adding drift suspensions for us to be contempt for the meantime, however I should not be surprised as video games the past 5 years have been all talk and no realistic content upon launch. There are a couple comments here saying the FM7 drift lobbies are dead - BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS / FM7 is outdated to drifters standards.
It’s somewhat ridiculous a brand new game with YEARS of development is solely relying on Xbox LFG to organize their own drift lobbies. As I’m sure you can tell, thousands if not tens of thousands of people are disappointed by this news.
There is however hope since devs made the note of “upon launch”. Please keep working towards the drift and drag community as we have been loyal followers of the FM franchise for almost 2 decades. Having sections of maps or even maps that seemed specifically designed for drifting such as Dubai was the cherry on top during FM7’s peak.
I love this franchise and have been waiting for this game for years, I just hope it’s not a classic video game disappointment as games have been lately…

Sure. I have a spare set of trashed plastics for exactly that purpose. I taught one dude to ride on it before, but it really is a terrible beginner bike. Like, probably the worst type of bike to try and learn on. It does not like to putt around, and when you find the power, it all comes at once.

Forza should definitely add drift events I love the racing so far no complaints but my favorite part of Forza is the drifting you should add drift comps and drift maps from actual tracks

I desperately want to see some more respect given to RWD Drifting in the Forza franchise. There needs to be modes that are more related to Drifting culture and Formula Drift types of competition.
Fm7 is the best Forza has done thus far to at least give us an easy place to meet up and do tandems, etc, but still not enough to separate awd and rwd in casual meet ups, and not enough separation of car classes in competitive modes.
Fh5 did the best as far as how Drifting looks on the screen, but utterly failed at any sort of competitive Drifting, with only 2 random car class options, no way to specify which class you want to compete in, and no separation between awd and rwd.
The physics in FM8 are straight up amazing and Drifting in FM8 absolutely has the potential to be BETTER than Assetto.

Wellll. Waited years for a new forza just to be disappointed yet again. Back to stat field I go. 
as someone who has played this game solely for drifting since forza 1 all the way till this game im very disappointed ijn the fact creators stepped away from the drifting community when the last big update to forza 7 was all about drift cameras. the drift community has really taken a big hit on this one. turn 10 might not know this but they are the people responsible for getting people into the drifting motorsport and have created winning pro FD drivers and people who can get into an fd car and drive it like they know what they are doing. something needs to change and it needs to change fast or this might be the last time you see a game full of life as most of the pro sim drifters are building PC and switching over to games like assetto. we use to hold drift comps in this game all the way from forza 2 to forza 7 known as esda and vfd and with legacy features like spectate missing its near impossible. shall i also talk about the lack of car customization and body kits. forza use to be that game everyone came to with a slogan where dreams are driven and now your dream of driving a wide body bmw e92 are gone as they removed all wide body kits from forza 7 even tho its a copy paste design. this is such sad new for the drift community and i hope that in your next update we get drifting back on the level forza 7 had. REMEMBER FOLKS WHERE DREAMS ARE DRIVEN this isnt a dream that the devs had its a dream we all share and have

OG drifter here from the FM1 days (Team wash what up) and its obvious they don’t care about us. They never really have.

Can anyone let me know if there is a petition or something of that sort to bring back FM Drift racing please. I Just dont understand why it could be in the game for the past 7 games and just decide to take it away for no reason. So please if anybody has info on this please @ me

I am highly disappointed. Ive been playing forza motorsport since the beginning on xbox 360 SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DRIFT SESSIONS. You completely eliminated one of best aspects of the game. And the leveling of cars to buy upgrades? If youre planning on making this another one of those battle pass pay to win games youre going to regret it. No auction house, nothing original about the game. Highly, HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED.
literally the only thing they have for drifting is the suspension, not ires at all. Will say they did add more steering angle with the suspension so thats a good sign
Why not have drift in new forza or saloon mode juste drive and have fun whit crazy setup
It was announced pre launch that drag and drift wouldn’t be in at launch but afterwards

considering they arent adding the nordschliefe till march 2024, we arent ever getting the drift features, they simply dont care enough
Still no word of drift lobby’s making it to the new FM, honestly ruins the game in my opinion. I have played Forza since fm1 and drifting has been a thing since fm2, drifting from maps like fujimi Kato to Bernese Alps, for such a great game trying to care for all there players you have seemed to just dump a fair amount of players to the ground here. Please bring out drift lobby’s and make FM great again the racing aspects of the game are awesome and clearly have done a fair amount to try make people have really good experience on the game but dropping this game mode from Forza is terrible.

Im sure at some point there’ll be a drift mode added along with some drift car dlc. I think drag will be the same.
