Drift Club 2.0

…was quite disappointed that it was with Formula Drift cars, not that i have a problem with any of those cars, in fact they’re all perfect (for me) to hoon around with.

…on the other hand, it felt great that You actually put them to sum use, like the James Bond cars got some attention.

What i’m saying is, i was looking forward to drifting with a new lineup of cars, specially upgraded & tuned by Mr Robert Glenn (diggin’ that accent)

What You could’ve done for “Drift Club” is, after we complete the challenges (1 Star, for people who struggle with those cars), we get an option to use own car…, cutscenes & audio from Robert could be skipped (for obvious reasons) when replaying the stories in that case, but time limit & objective should stay in tact.

Yeah i 3-star the whole thing thinking there would be a good prize at the end and i got like… a wheelspin or something.

tbf tho it was just easy… all the drift stuff in the island is way to easy to beat. I still have drift courses on the mainland i can’t 3-star but the drifts on the island i completed in a bout 60 minutes.

I suck at drifting so I was glad the island drift zones were easier. I have only 7 that I 3-star in main but completed all the island. Getting ready to work club 2.0

I did Drift Club 2.0 with TCS on, 3 Starred them All, When I was done is when I realized I forgot to take TCS off. Wondered how come I could finally control that Viper

Drift Club 1.0 was a minor hassle for me, not cause I can’t drift, it’s just not my thing, so I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t do something different. British Racing Green was kind of cool, so something similar to that. Hopefully there’s not a Drift Club 3.0 or if so at least in addition to something else.

Pulled all these off on the 1st try too. Apparently everyone isnt gifted at drifting. Those who were watching my stream were amazed. 4 gear transmissions are boring though

As a non-drifter (I keep TCS on, for example), I appreciate that they made all drifting in Fortune Island easier.

I 3-starred all Drift Club 2.0 chapters on the first try, aside from the Viper one (I hate that car), and I easily completed all drift zones. Usually with a drift zone in the mainland, I just did it for fun, not trying very hard, knowing that with my skill it will be virtually impossible to get 3 stars. I did the same here, drifted the long, downhill drift zone (forget the name) with a Ferrari 458, got 200k easily, and I was completely surprised when I saw I actually 3-starred the zone, on my first try no less.

But I have to say that I feel that everything is easier in Fortune Island. All speed traps, danger signs, etc. The most difficult stunt I found was one of the Trailblazers, but I suspect it’s mostly because I’m unfamiliar with the format/terrain.

So I’m a bit at an impasse. I really appreciate making difficult content more accessible (such as 3-starring drift zones), but on the other hand it does take some challenge out of the whole game, it does seem a tad easier. I guess I’m not trying to make a particular point, just sharing my thoughts.

EDIT:

Oh and as to what OP was saying, yeah, I was definitely disappointed with the selection of cars. We had FD cars since launch, why use them now ? Feels like we should have used them in Drift Club 1.0 (and we did use one of the Nissan 240X’s if I recall correctly). Aaanyway, was expecting some new cars, maybe drifting with some trucks, SUV’s, or buggies. A bit miffed that we essentially got recycled content.
