Drift Zones - getting to 3 stars

Why when I do drift club missions, everything is great! I easily score points with a huge margin as soon as it comes to the usual drift zones. That’s how things go wrong. I can’t get up to 3 stars. It just doesn’t work. There is a feeling that the physics of the cars are changing or the score (I do not change the control options and assistants)

Yeah I know it’s annoying. The way I got around some of the drift zones, was by picking a drift car, then drifting on straights (Drifting from left to right on straight), and sometimes using the handbrake to do or to exaggerate unnecessary drift.

Sometimes failing the drift zones because I spun out trying to exaggerate my drift to be able to get higher points.

I would just say keep trying and eventually you’ll get it. Send me a clip of you drifting if you can?

Some of the FH4 drift zones are pretty brutal (looking at you S-bends), especially when compared to FH5, which toned down the points requirements and has better drifting physics in general. One starting tip if you haven’t already is to make sure you have traction control turned off, since that’ll murder your ability to sustain a drift.

Pick the right car. Try a Cadillac CTS or a drift car like the Viper or one of the Silvia’s. Or download a drift tune. There’s a really easy Formula Drift Viper AWD tune that makes it feel like you’re playing NFS Carbon.
