Drag Tuning

I need to learn how to tune drag cars, what cars are good and how to tune them differently. I used to tune in for a horizon 2 but I forgot everything. I want to learn how so I can make more tunes I mainly have drift and goliath tunes that are pretty good considering they are mostly above 4 stars. If anyone has tips or I guide I can follow it would be greatly appreciated.

For drag tuning, all I really concentrate on is gearing. Otherwise, I go through roughly the same routine every time I drive/tune a car the first time; lower tire pressure a few PSI, lower spring stiffness/damping for a bit better hook when I give it gas, tweak aero and ride height for speed without losing cornering… Mostly trial and error, but you figure out what works for certain weights and engines/drivetrains. The biggest problem for me is getting rid of inherent design characteristics, like how any rear-engined car handles like a corolla pulling a semi-trailer. Often the best performance isn’t what is statistically superior, but what you can learn to throw around the track the best.

Since tunes/upgrades get locked the way they do, it’s hard to just learn from observation. But if there’s a tune on my storefront that you like, I could screenshot some settings for you… Though I’m still very much a noob to FH3, I’ve been tweaking this stuff since Gran-Tourismo 3. I’m still digging though a lot of tutorials and at some point, you just have to spend a lot of time driving.
