Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 2018 - audio (1794278)

The car Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 2018 is missing it’s signature hemi engine sound and exhaust note. It is completely wrong. I previously created the same topic but it was closed suddenly and I had to create a new topic as I am still experiencing the issue. Here is a link to the previous topic for reference

This is before Update 6.0

Here is how it sounds in FM2023 as of Update 6.0. The issue still persists having the incorrect engine audio.

I am providing the real life audio samples from YouTube down below. Please use these to give this car a complete sound update.

I hope these helps. Please give a complete sound update to this car.
Thank you

Voted! It’s not the correct sound at all but just a generic and muffled V8 note.

Also, you can see how cars with paddle shifters shift gears so seamlessly yet in Forza there is always a judder, pause, and hiccup as if you’re shifting a manual stick with clutch.

This really needs to go! @T10ManteoMax

Apologies if this car has already been reported but it has a really lacklustre generic V8 note.

FM 7 nailed the sound well although that sample lacked any real bass or engine vibration/rumble.

Please give it the correct sound. Thank you.

Only 8 votes on this? Where’s the love for V8s, people? It’s gotta have that throaty and satisfying growl from the real life version + supercharger whine.

Make it so, T10!

Take a look at my other sound topics lol. Just go through all of them and check

Very anxious to see a sound update for this American legend.

@JetPartySalad

Not only the engine sound is wrong, but the Supercharger sounds wrong too and the gear shifting from its 8-speed AT behaves like a manual. I think every Automatic/DCT car in this game has delayed gear shifting like how Manual gears shift.

It makes my head spin when I think about WHO’S bright idea it was to have delays between gear shifts in these dual clutch flappy paddle gearboxes…

None of them have any delays or hiccups in real life… They literally shift like an automatic.

Rather than how they shift like manuals in-game, they act like they have Automated manuals.

Meanwhile, FH5’s automatic cars behave decent.

Well, hopefully they will get this car to shift the way it does IRL although I’m more concerned about hearing the actual sound in-game, both stock and upgraded - instead of a generic placeholder V8 supercharged sound

I think GT7 can speak for itself, especially in the comparison video already sent above.

Seems like they made it sound like a real Challenger Demon, They did their best with that 6.2 Supercharged HEMI V8. The heart of the Hellcat.

GT7 still has Wisewell on the team I think, he is an utter genius and doesn’t ignore any of the details. The car sounds are very faithfully reproduced. Imagine that… they went from vacuum cleaners, lawn movers, and nose trimmers to REAL car sounds.

Forza’s Dodge Demon sounds disgusting and nothing like the actual V8 supercharged Demon. I’ve noticed how most of the FOMO cars sound flat out wrong. Interesting…

Especially how GT simulates gearbox behavior. As you see, the Demon in GT7 shifts like an actual 8-speed Automatic!

Ivr been after them since FM 6 to correct the shifting behaviour for ALL cars with dual clutch flappy paddle gearboxes but T10 being the Hollywood movie lovers or something that they are decided to make those cars shift with a hiccup or pause for extra drama…

How lame. DCGs shift seamlessly like an automatic. Better than an automatic in fact: there’s no judder or pause between shifts.

Bug has been logged. When’s the update coming?

Can’t stand the dreadful sound that’s in the game right now. Many V8s have been improved, much to my delight, hoping to see a major improvement to this beloved American legend too.
