For a good while, I’ve been thinking about how different tunable parts have no values displayed in the Tuning menu when adjustable upgrades are not applied. I’m not allowed to see the suspension setting with stock suspension, I cannot see the default gearing, the downforce values are never shown outside of Race parts - that kind of stuff. It makes sense to some extent, maybe the manufacturer wants to keep these things secret from the average player, but there are certainly ways to determine at least some of these values with lots of testing with telemetry data - so why keep them away at all?
Default values of non-adjustable parts should be displayed in the Tuning menu, so that players can at least try to get close to these settings if they find them more comfortable. It would also finally allow to see downforce values of each type of aero part - maybe Race aero isn’t always the best option? The difference between stock and race part numbers would finally be visible. This would be a net benefit to basically everyone!
