Based on the comments over at gtplanet forums, many of the people responsible for updating the game and delivering content are gone now.
This might mean no more updates or no more new forza motorsport games.
There are also rumors that say the T10 will be a support studio for PGG & Forza Horizon.
I guess we need to wait for an official response from the remaining T10 developers.

I saw posts across social platforms from the Motorsport team announcing that they will continue to support the game with updates, new cars, etc.
And yet, not here on their own forum. Hmm. Perhaps you’d like to provide links, for the sceptics.

Isn’t that just the last known update and says nothing about actual new content?
Dead link for me but if it’s as @robotiChart says, that’s old news with no new content.
To my knowledge, Turn 10 have only said to the community that they hear us and that the Insiders programme has been paused. The former is typical of them, avoiding disseminating clear information until they can put a positive spin on it. After eight weeks of ‘hearing‘ they haven’t said anything reassuring.
The latter is the only subsequent official communication and means there’s no new content coming for at least two months, without even hinting that there will be any.
