Just bought digital copy of forza 6 but wont download, been on with microsoft support with no luck, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, the last thing they say is factory reset but no way am i doing that with too much data to reinstall!
Yes, I bought the Ultimate Edition Digital Copy on Sunday and I sometimes get stuck at 16% and then 93% with an error of Installation Stopped.
Probably the best solution at the moment is a full, hard reset of the console. This does not delete any saved content. AFTER the reset, do NOT interrupt the download, even if it seems to pause for a long time. Do NOT do anything else on the console, and do NOT start the game - “Ready to play” - unless the download is 100% completed.
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself.
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack).
4 – Reconnect the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.
If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still basically in “standby” and just picks up where you were in trouble.
Been trying for a week to download digital copy of Forza 6 purchased as part of the Forza 6 console bundle. Gets to 1% then Installation stops. Have spent hours on the phone with Xbox support just talking through the same useless troubleshoots! Still no luck. Get on the phone to a sheila today and when she obviously ran out of options she sent me here, instead of dealing with the problem, she is hoping one of you guys might be able to help? Does anyone from either Microsoft, Xbox, or Turn 10 want to chime in with when they are going to get this crap sorted???

Same here. Forza bundle and wont get past 1% really annoying now in stuck with a game i cant play. I really want to play it. It hurts spending over $500 for a forza bundle and forza doesnt work.

I too have exactly the same problem - Bought the Forza 6 console bundle and the digital download does not goe past 1%. Microsoft support told me the console was faulty, so I returned for a new one, and guess what? EXACTLY the same problem. I have now successfully downloaded other games, os its not a problem with my network or setup, its definitely something with this game. ANY HELP APPRECIATED.
Who are your internet providers
Currently in Australia there’s an issue with iinet and providers that use them downloading any xbox games and updates
Something to do with the freezone
That could very possibly be the issue!
I use iinet. Is there any way to get around this
