I apologise if this has already been posted and i did do a search and found nothing.
Why cant u change your exhaust tip like seriously that is like the thing i want most out of this game will it ever come to a forza? ive been wanting it since i first played forza 3. I know you can change it on some cars but u have to have a stupid body kit on and u still dont get to choose doesnt anyone else want this feature?
I don’t know. I am not a videogame designer or programmer. It could have nothing to do with being difficult and everything to do with it not being on the team’s list of things to include.
They could of go with something generic like the tread patterns they used on street, sport, racing, and drag tires. The exhaust tips would change with the same tier upgrades.
I doubt exhaust tips will be Turn 10’s solution to upping their game for new competition. They’ll most likely go the route the have been with adding new tracks/cars. For me personally, exhaust tips and other exterior mods for looks aren’t a big concern.
First off there is a wish list for requests like this.
Second, if exhaust tips are the thing u want the most outa this game then I think u may be happier playing something like need for speed over a simulation racer like forza.
Third, as stated I’m sure T10 has many other priorities above exhaust tips. Like modeling new tracks and cars and bug fixing. They haven’t added any new ways to modify cars since if I recall forza 1 so I doubt they will be adding an aesthetic mod like exhaust tips anytime soon.
I agree with the OP. It’s a small thing, but I remember the customised tips in Gran Turismo 5 gave me that extra feeling that the car had been upgraded.
It’s weird having a GT86 with a Turbo V8 and seeing the stock muffler and tips.
It’wouldn’t take that much to do. I mean they change calipers for brake upgrades.
Please don’t do that. The success of the Forza franchise is built on the people within its community. Telling them to go elsewhere just because you don’t agree with their position does nothing to support Forza. Surely, if you have an opinion against this form of customization, you could speak to that instead.
