Did I miss something about a free Mitsubishi car pack?

So I was going through the Autoshow trying to bulk up my car count to get the 475 or there abouts Star Card achievement and I saw a low priced Mazda for ~20K that I clicked on not noticing it was a DLC car.

So it pops up: This car is part of a 7 car pack, I can get it now for “FREE”.

When did this happen?

If you mean you were browsing the Autoshow, the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R is a DLC car included in the Car Pass. If you own the Car Pass, the included cars are free from the Autoshow. If you own the Ultimate Edition, the Car Pass DLC is included for free.

Car Pass cars are listed in the Car List thread pinned above.

I don’t have the car pass, and my edition is the standard edition.

I am at work right now: Its probably the Mitsubishi Car Pack I see in your spreadsheets that’s a free 7 car DLC that I found?

When was that a thing?

Because obviously twitter is where we would find stuff like this.
Not in the Message centre in game.
Not in Forza Hub (What is that thing for anyway? It still shows pre-release content for FM7 and missed the existence of season 16 entirely).
I probably wouldn’t see an announcement in these forums, who has time to go digging through all the old threads.
Mixer maybe? The support site?

Why can’t games just have a central place that brings all their “community” programs together so those of us that are more interested in the Game and less interested in face-graming our tweet sphere don’t have to play an internet version of the Amazing Race to discover we’ve had some free cars for months.

Forza Hub’s utility is to provide me a way to cash in on weekly rewards. It doesn’t even have an Android version to my knowledge… It was supposed to be that central hub you mentioned, but there’s not much going on with it.
