I think it’s like a brand new restaurant… they’re good for a while but then succumb to the same craptastic attitude so many others fall into…
A development team might abandon a big name production house they’re a part of to do the kind of development that want to do and the results are good. But then they wanna do bigger projects, need funding or do so well a larger organization buys them out… then they find themselves answerable to someone else again…
But that’s one reason why I enjoy Assetto Corsa and Competizione so much… Kunos does what they want to do and how they wanna do it. There is a reason people are still modding Assetto Corsa after it’s been out for like 10 years…
The game crashes with regularity…on console now. I just don’t get how this is possible. The one thing about a console game over PC is supposed to be stability. T10 has a really good game here but is just constantly buried by so many issues. This game should not have been released now. It wasn’t ready.
So you agree that there are lots of problems with this game,
and you agree that this game should not have been released in this condition,
and you agree there are people responsible for it…
…but you don’t think anyone should speak up about it?
You don’t think audiences should make it loud & clear that this is unacceptable?
You think “PaTiEnCe” & praise for low quality will lead to better future releases?
It’s not all pointless. People who waited years for a solid release date were excited it was finally releasing and hesitant that Turn 10 wouldn’t get their things together thus releasing little more than disappointment.
I honestly think a lot, but not all, of the flak that’s flying around now is deserved. They promised a graphical phenomenon and delivered a washed out muddy mess.
If you think this is pointless, hostile or whining then please contribute something useful. Otherwise, please find the door.

I have them as well. I’ve been very disappointed that MP replays are still not functional. I came here, found it’s been brought up, know it’s a known issue and upvoted a submission on it. All without towering egotistical entitlement mindset demands that the devs make them personally accountable to me, lol.
That’s the pointless part, and if it means even one person remembers to keep it civil addressing the devs then I’ll be satisfied that I’ve made a fine contribution to this forum regardless of your opinion of it.
The problem isn’t civility. It’s that certain people here keep attempting to redefine it as something that resembles unearned praise, and those same people have made concerted efforts to downplay, demean, and diminish the concerns and rightful frustration of others. Now, I could certainly hazard a guess as to why, but the last time I did that - in a completely civil manner, mind you - I got a nasty letter in my inbox.
So you’ll forgive me if I find these calls for “civility” a little insincere. And suspect.

What I’ve said is, the amount of hate and vitriol is, in my opinion, disproportionate. There’s a lot of folks who are just jumping on the bandwagon, arguing about every little thing over and over again. They’re flinging around accusations and insults without providing any real evidence or reason.
The fact that there are problems is undeniable and it’s been necessary for folks to share their experiences for those issues to be proven. There are a lot of folks that I’ve see that have gone too far with it though in my opinion.
People who think the game isn’t what it should be; especially when compared to previous titles of which had shorter production timeframes and smaller staff backing them.

Be respectful to the devs. (Not saying you haven’t been) It’s that simple. If people are so mad that they can’t do that then they should just refund the game and play something that makes them happy.
Note, I’m not saying you weren’t. I haven’t seen that comment. But there’s just no call for the attitude that I replied to.
Nah. There’s also those who agree this is the least polished and complete version of the game and are here to help it improve via constructive criticism. You could be one of those, I dunno.
And there’s also entitled melodramatic moaners who vastly overestimate how much latitude their purchase gives them when voicing complaints.
Do you think that the way Esaki stole money from us was respectful? He flat out lied, made a dollar, and split.
Took peoples hard earned money by cutting corners, and polishing reused tracks and cars. The physics are more understeery than ever, and just about anyone can drive 95% of the roster.
The sound was touted as being “the best sounding Forza ever” when they can’t even get the sounds right. They’re still using Sound Synthesis, nothing new there, and another lie. FM4 and 6 sound way better.
“Better physics than 5, 6, and 7 combined”, another lie.
“Built from the ground up”, a bald face lie.
“Best looking Forza”, another lie
“Best sounding Forza ever”, another lie.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not the most Accessible Forza ever either, but I haven’t heard any complaints there. It is very easy to control the cars.
Just about everything we’ve been told is a lie and you expect us to be respectful about blatant lies.
Lying to a community or a person just to get their money doesn’t mean you care about them, you just care about their money.
Why are we still here?
Heads need to roll sooner than later, and the franchise we grew up with needs to change.
