Demo NO SOUND on PC (UNSOLVED)

I only get sound in the cutscenes and intro, but after that nothing seems to work. This is the first game I ever saw this type of bug.

It needs to be fixed ASAP…

You’re in the tech forum, this has been discussed and a fix found.

I tried everything from changing to 7.1, 24 bit 48k, etc up to enabling audio effects. Nothing worked.
It has not been fixed. Do not talk as if you know what you are talking about. IT IS an ongoing issue for days and I have not seen any dev reply yet.

No a fix has not been found. It only works for some people. My PC already had all of the “fixes” suggested on this forum by default. Nothing worked so far.

Agreed. Also not working here.

GTX1070 nVidia GPU (HDMI out) gives only the cut-scene movie playback audio. All settings that “fixed” it attempted with reboots between settings changes and no difference. GPU driver from when the demo launched and the new game-ready driver. No difference.

Using Realtek ALC892 mobo audio works fine when I plug headphones into it (but not much use for audio to my speaker system via HDMI).

I second this, there’s no fix for this yet that works for everyone!

What kind of cable are you using? What is your video chipset, AMD???

3.5 aux connected to a logitech z906. I do not think that is relevant but you asked for a reason I assume.

Have you tried using HDMI?

I’m using a Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card, same issue. I have tried all of the fixes mentioned so far but none of them work.

Same here, tried all of the above to fix, just installed the latest drivers from Nvidia and still no luck…
