Audio ONLY during cutscenes (No audio during actual gameplay)

Hi,

I’ve added a video from the issue as well. I play on PC, I’ve downloaded the game via Windows Store.

I have audio, as soon as the game starts showing the logo etc, as soon as the menu comes up, the audio goes away.

Then I start the game and some cutscenes comes up WITH audio, as soon as they’re done and I am driving, the audio is gone again.

I’ve always had audio enhancements turned off in Windows, I’ve tried turning them on and off again, also while restarting my pc and the game several times.

I have no idea who to fix this issue.

Specs:
Windows 10
i7-5820k
GTX 980 Strix OC
16 GB Quad Core DDR4 Memory

GRAPHICS DRIVER:

GeForce Game Ready Driver: Version 399.24

i have noticed this, but only when the game isnt the active window (clicked on) if its in the “background” the cutscene audio plays, but nothing else.

The window / game was def. clicked on for me.

I even tabbed in and out of the game multiple times during testing, but thank you for the tip :slight_smile:

I confirm. Audio only in the cutscenes

I have audio on the opening company logos but from the mclaren start screen onwards its distorted/crackly sound

I’m having the exact same issue, just the cutscenes… but it’s weird because even the cutscenes in the beginning doesn’t have the voicer over but has the car sounds etc

I am hoping the devs are posting something soon about this!

The sound issues are a shame as the game runs beautifully on ultra/extreme. I’d just really like to know that the audio is fixed before i pre-order

I’d love to stream the game and actually show it off on my channel, but there’s no way I can do that, as long as it’s not working :slight_smile:

I know there’s a string saying this issues has been resolved.

But it has not, when is a dev / moderator gonna look into this?
