Nope they are completely different cars. The 280Z is the successor to the 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432 that is already in the game. Here is the info on both cars:
Just because they look similar doesnāt mean they are the same car. The last three generations of VW Golfās (Mk5, Mk6, Mk7) all look pretty similar but they are completely different cars.
