2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia VS. 2018 Kia Stinger ← this would be epic!

The Kia would get handled and smoked bad by the Alfa. 2 different cars…

From an owners perspective the alfa is an unbelievable car, I don’t know enough about the stinger as of yet but it looks a really heavy car and doesn’t look like it could compete against the Alfa. The alfa wipes the floor with M4’s M3’s and new C63 AMG S’s but would be fun to see what the stinger can do.

The style of your writing leads me to the conclusion that you are just a kid pretending to own an Alfa or just daddys rich kid trying to show off.

Anyways: We are less than one week away from release. We’ve waited 3 months now, we can wait one more week.

Your style of writing leads me to believe you may be jealous a bit. Like, that’s seriously an asinine thing to say, what exactly ABOUT his writing style makes you believe that he’s just a kid pretending?

Just go to his profile and look at his last 10 posts. Nothing more to say…

Well he is not wrong. They are not even close to being in the same class. The alfa is about 1 second faster to 60. Plus it is being praised as the best car in it’s class mostly because of the way it handles.

They are 100%, without a doubt, no questions asked in the same class. Except the Alfa happens to be pricier than both the M3 and C 63 (C 63 S is pricier, however).

uhmm that kind of bonus is ok on horizon but i dont feel it " ok " with motorsport… too arcade/nfs style to my taste that kind of things

Well i’ll hazard a guess that drift and destruction bonuses wont be in it, but, xp and credit bonuses for driving the car is no different than the mods that got introduced last year, except its already on the car

Nitro,
How does this make it too arcadish??? The only thing here is you race your race as you normally would and get say 2X the credits in that FE car. I am sure there will be no lumberjack, side swipe kind of bonuses though. It will be like racing in FM6 but in a FE car you may get twice the credits for any race you drive that car in.

Nice to have the Fiat 124 Spider to go along with it’s Miata sibling.

Why is this debate happening?

The Kia Stinger and Alfa Romeo Giulia are both sports sedans aimed at BMW. In that regard, they are “in the same class”.

Yes, the Alfa is faster, more expensive, and designed to compete with the 3 series (rather than the 5 series the Kia competes with). But they are in the same general class of vehicles, and a competition or comparison between the two would not be a mismatch.

The Stinger is a GT car while the Giulia is a sports saloon, like the 3 and 5 series.

Why can’t someone from Turn 10 comment on this already? We are days away from release.

I wouldn’t say the Stinger is a GT car, it’s a 4 door E-segment sedan.

Alfa on the other hand is D-segment, so same class as Cadillac ATS, Mercedes C-class, 3-series, Jaguar XE, etc.

Well except the kia would compete against the BMW 540 and the alfa would compete against the M3. In terms of performance, size, and price they are in completely different classes
