with the TOYOTA supra ?

I guess that would wind quite a few people up…

Considering SMS is rumored to be making an FnF game AND the Toyota problem, this is doubtful. However, I wonder if it was planned earlier and then they lost the license, which could mean a delay in the reveal.

Nothing in today’s WIR, a week before release.

I dunno if Toyota messed with it, if SMS and its FnF agreement messed with it, but this car pack really, truly seems like vapourware at this point. I’m wondering if they’re scrambling to take one of the planned DLC packs and re-badging it as the Day 1 pack.

This is probably too much to ask, but: someone from
T10 care to comment?

in fact … no news about the day one pack, the vip pack … the pre download …meh…

for the fnf game i heard that will be the project car team who will make it…

VIP pack was announced weeks ago, Forza Garage week 5. It’s 5 FE cars.

oh ok… i just checked forza garage week 5 and no words about vip … bytheway i suppose that will be the usual normal car with a forza livery on it…

Week 6, sorry.

For those who want to get a great head start on their Forza Edition collection right away, check out our VIP membership, which is available as part of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of Forza Motorsport 7. All five of the cars included in the VIP Car Pack are Forza Edition cars, including the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Forza Edition, the 2013 Ram Runner Forza Edition, the 2012 Nissan GTR Forza Edition, the 1992 Ford Escort RS Forza Edition, and the 2014 BMW M4 Forza Edition. That’s five awesome Forza Edition cars right from the start, plus custom Driver Gear, and more!

VIP FE cars will have bonuses attached to them like the ones in Horizon 3. This much has been confirmed and will make them more valuable especially as start of game rewards are driver suits and crates based on tier level and not millions of credits.

i dont know how are on horizon 3 couse i dont like that series so … in the other forza motorsport they are just normal car that you can buy with cr in game with a forza livery and tuned to the max IP in certain class … nothing special…

In Horizon 3, the Horizon Edition cars have a bonus attached to them, can be cash, xp, skills bonuses (drift, destruction) which makes them more valuble

thank you! as i imagined nothing " new " on the vip style pack , but still no news on the day one pack and other things … we will figure out on release day

Why do I get the feeling the Day One Car Pack will not be new cars but instead simply cars already in the game with some sort of special livery or tune passed off as a “Day One Edition”? I mean normally that wouldn’t bother me but seeing as the VIP pack is just FE cars and not new cars, that would be 2 packs of pure padding and no new cars. The Hoonigan pack, while nice, is cars we just got in FH3 with one new car. Well at least I’ve got the car pass, which is most likely how the actual new cars will be released… and Forzathons.

The fact the WIR has no information, is now even more alarming. (good stuff about homologation though now i’ve read more into it).

May I remind everyone FH3 and FM6 both announced this information MONTHS before release, July I believe.

My best guess for the contents of the “Day One Car Pack” is as follows: 124 Abarth Spider, The Kia Stinger and the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 as being 3 out of the 7 potential cars, source: https://i.imgur.com/HLGdLgo.png

As for the other 4 cars in the pack? Noboday knows, but seeing as those 3 vehicles are confirmed to be in the game and ARE NOT in the “official” car list, it makes me believe they are part of the day 1 pack.

Maybe, for whatever reason, they’re deciding to do what they’ve done for the majority of the past monthly packs- announce the contents on launch day. It’d be a pretty bad move, considering that most people are staking pre-order money on it.

If it does have something to do with the Toyota situation changing suddenly… I don’t know, I actually like the sound of a pack with the Stinger and 124 more than I would like a Fast and the Furious pack.

As tame as those car additions are (if what you’re saying is true, of course – I won’t fully believe it until T10 says so), the fact that these are three new-to-series cars alone is big news, enough to make me want the game (I have my preorder in, but am still on the fence as to whether I’m going to keep it or no) because it suggests that maybe – MAYBE – DLC packs are going to include a majority of new-to-series cars, and not rehashes from old games.

They’ve all been spotted in gameplay vids, so it’s either the day one pack, or cars that weren’t revealed.

Cool but my rule has always been: until it’s announced by someone official, I won’t hang my hat on it. I go back to that big F:H3 “leak” as an example of why I feel this way.
