How about having darker nights, where a good portion of skill comes into play when one decides to drive quickly?
Darker nights would contribute to focusing more on the surroundings/map, providing a more realistic sensation as one races through the night.
I would be more realistic. But people have been complaining about that, sooo…
Anyways you have my vote.
Also, I heard of a doctor who would get in an all black Dodge viper with no lights on the vehicle at all and drive at top speed with night vision goggles.
That is how this guy got to work! I would not try that, but it is still cool.
“Kids, don’t try this at home…”
(Usually ends with an explosion.)
“What could go wrong?!”
Stop. Just stop. Turn your brightness down. Put on sunglasses.
I can’t count the amount of times I get out of the festival or my house and it’s almost pitch black night, I can see and do nearly nothing and my heart drops. I mean if there was ever a setting to ditch the night outright, I’d take it. Either that or make the moon a living and moving part of the nightscape.
Doesn’t work so well with HDR displays. If the brightness is turned down, the game doesn’t hit proper peak nits. Simple as that.
