Dacon 828 (Obvio! 828) 1983-1994
The development of this vehicle by Brazilian company Dacon started in 1982 and was their 8th project, hence the car was called 828, reports indicate that about 47 were built, the first 11 of those by Puma. Dacon used to be Brasil’s Porsche and later VW distributor which explains the Porsche 928 tail lights and styling similarities (shape, doors, wheels, name etc). Some of them even made it to other parts of the world (the black car shown below is known to be in daily use in Hamburg, Germany) and there were plans to even market it in the US as Obvio! 828 with hybrid technology.
