Well am on my holidays atm but for sure when I get back I can take a look for you I’ll be more than happy to do so

Hey man what’s up, I use a controller so that’s what the tune a setup up for but you should find the cars easy to drive with a wheel or controller

Bump

I really enjoyed your S2000 CR 2009 Honda tune in C class
Think there is a chance you might build an S2000 for B leagues this week?

Also, like the tuning guide. Its giving me a good base to start building tunes.

Some nice tunes in there - really consistent and easy to push on

Thanks man glad you like them

Request for the Toyota Supra from the Fast and Furious pack…S Class. AWD preferred, as it’ll be used for Cat and Mouse.

I have one built now, but the problem I have is when driving and viewing the telemetry of the suspension, the shocks are always maxed out when accelerating or braking, regardless of ride height. Naturally, I’ve tried very stiff suspension to combat this problem, but that, in turn, makes the car handle like garbage. Having a car that won’t take a corner at more than 60 mph without sliding off the track is maddening. This is the only car (so far) that I have this issue with.

If you’d like to discuss this a bit further, please add me (Roush Sport) and we can chat in-game.

Thank you kindly for your time!

Thanks for the comment, how much horses you rocking? Not to sure why that’s happening for you, you can normally find some sort of happy medium on a car regardless of power and wieght etc.
Can I suggest if your tuning have a go using my tuning guide!? It’s on the forums first page ‘CW’s Complete Tuning Guide’ if you can’t getting working using that then for sure i’LL take a look

798 hp, 659 lb-ft torque, 3439 lbs weight, 55% front.

I’ve tried setting it up using your guide…either I’m rubbish at tuning, or this car is a freak.

Ok erm idk then seems a pretty normal car with those stats, Try the following, it’s just of the top of my head atm
28psi F+R.
Gears Normal for now.
ARB 22.8F 17.2R.
Springs 775F 700R.
Ride Height What suits you.
Rebound 9.0F 8.3R.
Bump 4.8F 4.4R.
Aero Full.
Brakes 57% n 200% Pressure.
Diff, you say AWD?
F Accel 29%
F Decel 0%
R Accel 59%
R Decel 22%
Split 69%

This would be a base setup, let me know how you get on

What about camber, and caster…leave stock? Usually, thanks to that Forzatune app, my camber is usually -2.0 on the front, -2.2 on the rear.
Ran this setup so far - car seems more planted, but only slightly. Also, in the telemetry screen that shows the springs, the suspension is still maxing out on both accel (rear suspension tops out), and decel (front, naturally). Same thing happens when cornering…even with the ride height set as high as it can go.

headscratch

Totally forgot those try -2.8F n -2.0R on Camber, Toe 0.0F n -0.3R n Caster 6.0.
Just thinking is this happening only in the corners? If that’s the case then that is perfectly natural, as you go round the corners the cars wieght is being transferred from one side to another. So when your watching telemetry on screen you will see it max out on the left side through right hand corners and maxing out on the right in left hand corners.
This should not be happening in a straight line…

It’s in both corners and on the straights. Oddly though, I’ve set up quite a few cars, and not one of them has the suspension maxing out like this car does.

As for the caster / camber - I’ll give those settings a go this evening when I get home.

Do you have the fast and furious pack? If so…try this car (the orange supra) out. Set it up, go into a race, bring up the telemetry screens, and go to the one that shows you the suspension. Hit the gas and watch as the back shocks completely compress…then hit the brakes and watch the front ones compress. Then, go into the tuning and set it up like you suggested above…and run it some more, watching the telemetry again. You’ll see…

I think your over thinking it buddy if am honest, the behaviour you mention when on throttle and brakes is natural. Have you ever been in a car and experienced rapid acceleration and hard brake you feel the force push you back into the seat right, then your thrown forward when you break hard. The same thing is happening to the cars wieght so that is what your telemetry is showing you, because your putting the car under heavy stress. It’s never just steady in the middle on the telemetry it’s always moving.

I don’t think your understanding what I’m saying. What I’m saying is - regardless of what you are doing in the car…be it accelerating, braking, turning, etc…the suspension should not be fully compressing. If it fully compresses, it means the suspension settings are too soft, right? That said, if you go in to the springs and set everything as stiff as possible and then drive the car, the suspension STILL compresses fully under accel, braking, turning, etc. Naturally, with the suspension as stiff as it can be, the car will wash out of the corners. There in lies the problem…how to get the car to bite and turn properly without the suspension being fully compressed while doing so.

I tried your Le Mans tune…obviously it’s purpose is speed, not handling…and yet even that has the suspension issue.

If you want to throw in the towel, I understand. I’ll figure it out eventually, or chalk it up and reconcile myself to the fact that when it comes to this car, you can dial it in so far, but then that’s it. You can’t 100% fine tune the suspension because no matter what you do, the suspension will never properly hold the weight of the car (IE it’ll always bottom out no matter what).
