This is Horizon, some cars need to be unrealistically low… Maybe a stance suspension upgrade???
Otherwise Horizon is looking VERY solid!
I have played every Forza game to date. Some of the previous titles featured things that now don’t exist but should do when it comes to the customization aspect. Having the right coloured parts on your car is important to any car enthusiast and artists out there. The two things I would really love, and they’re only small, to exist in the game are;
Selectable sticker brands for your tyre walls… I know if I am correct T10 get their tyre data using Pirelli. I may be very wrong, but even so having stickers on your tire wall changes the characteristics, and visual personality of a car massively. They have the licence and use of tyre brand logos with the vinyl creation. It would be great to be able to add these on to your tyre walls. This aspect looks amazing on old American Muscle cars!! And would do so on an idea I have for a Ferrari 488.
My next wish, or customization return is probably the smallest detail… To be able to change the colour of your brake callipers!!! Again, and person buying a brand new sports car, designing a paint scheme for their car will take this into consideration. It used to be in Forza Motorsport 2, and I think 3 also. This again has a huge impact on a cars personality, and the driver to say so. PLEASE T10, we want this back in the game!!!
These came to my thoughts when I saw a design of a new Ferrari 488, and wanted to make it as I knew the car was in FH3. All black, yellow callipers, and bold white lettering on the tyre wall. That’s it… These things are so small and simple. If they are now wanting to challenge the likes of Need For Speed since introducing these wide body kits, then maybe they need to start thinking about this, and all the other features too. Headlight, rear lights, wing mirrors. And even aftermarket parts for super, and hypercars. BECAUSE THEY DO exist from companies like Vorsteiner, Novitech, Overfinch. I could name many more. I hope you read this Turn 10, and Playground games!!! We only want to make the game better as much as you do.
Please anyone else add your thoughts, and ideas to the list. I can’t be the only one.
I think turn 10 can add more options of factory rims, such as 488 gtb and 918 spyder (may come out in the future)
Because cars would look better with specific rims from factory.
For now there is only one set of factory rims for each car, which is a little shame…
Dear Turn 10 please give us complete factory rim options for cars that comes out in the future(918 Spyder for example, the standard rim looks much better than the weissach package rims).
My only requests:
-ability to put decals on the window, mirrors, wings & rims
-option to have front canards for the RocketBunny GT86/BRZ
-ability to tint headlights and tail lights
Please just give me:
That would make the stance crowd happy as hell.
Eww, stance…
This game is really cool, and I really like the fact that customization has been improved, but there’s still one major flaw to me…
Yeah, not being able to adjust wheel spacing is really annoying.
This is the feature I want the more to be integrated to the game because you have all those cool cars, and a selection of new rims that are really cool too, but some cars just look dumb…
I made a little example:
here is the original picture taken from the game:
and this is after a little fix with photoshop:
What do you think about this ? I really hope it will get implemented to the game through an update, even if I highly doubt it (sadly).
So, what I have noticed in the game from playing it recently is that the majority of cars have some Wide Body Kits, but other, possibly rarer and unheard of bodykits haven’t been added in-game, like the Abflug 900 bodykit for the Toyota Supra RZ, or the Veilside Fortune kit for the Toyota Supra RZ, Honda NSX, etc. Not even a mention of Top Secret WBK’s, as far as I know (unless the Skylines already have some that I haven’t seen?). I’d say it’s a good chance to introduce a lot more modification brands into the game as well, while the game is still out early (by early I mean it’s only just been released, so something big could happen, but you/we will have to work together for it, might even pay off too)
For example I recall (after a bit of searching) Toyota had some kits for the AE86, and so did Origin Labs (which you have kindly put into the game as normal bumpers.
The Nissan 350z (i’m sure there’s a reason why it’s had most bumper/spoiler modifications in game) is one of the prime examples of this. I recall it had a Veilside Kit at some point, even if it was in a movie, while also having a lot of other parts to it as well, including a Top Secret bodykit as well, which was also widebody.
Another mention of some of the kits regardless, some may be just one-offs or some sort, and i’m aware that you’ve searched for the most common ones, like Rocket Bunny, Liberty Walk, and even kindly put in some kits for classics like the 2000 GTR and the Toyota Celica.
Cars like the Honda Civic may have had one Widebody at some point in their time, probably not even, i’ll have to do some researching on the majority of cars that have/haven’t had a widebody from time to time. I know the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII/VIII/IX had a HKS Time Attack kit that wouldn’t look too awkward in-game, and will restore some nostalgia for some of us here.
The Lancia Delta S4 had a conversion kit as well for the body, possibly made for Hillclimb as well (I’m not sure if it’s an official kit, it would make sense if it was left out for a reason, perhaps it was?)
I’m aware that the majority of mentions of widebodies and customization have been about JDM as well, there are some others I should probably mention, but i’ll continue some research on some Widebodies and customizations for vehicles other than just JDM’s.
One other thing, some hatchbacks really need some hill-climb/time attack esque spoilers (complete with the full kit alongside them?).
We may never know if more customization options will be added in future updates, expansion packs… or in Horizon 4.
Oh whale.
Theres only two official manufacturers in this game (LB & RB) , although , there are some that were left out BUT!
It wasnt because the cars to apply the bodykit werent in the game , because they got the license for RWB and theres a bodykit for the R32.
Theres also Fujita Engineering that didnt get their RX7 bodykit in the game , but for the RX7 , i would prefer the Re Amemiya one (forza plz add thank u C:)
So what happend to those kits??
I’m disappointed that it’s only Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk. Those kits area fast way to ruin the look of a lot of cars. Wish they’d included some older widebody kits in this game.
In an off-tangent sense, I’d like to be able to view all the available parts and how they look on a car before purchasing a car. I hate it when I have to choose between cars only to find out that it has only the boring Forza-branded parts available.
Slowly putting together a list to help with this here.
I think the forza generic front bumper should be divided into 3 individual pieces: Canards, Splitter, and Tow hook. Basically if you want all 3 you can get them, but if you want to take off just the tow hook you can do that as well, or run a car with the tow hook only but none of the rest.
Of course that you’d still need the whole “set” to take advantage of the aero tuning.
I really only want Tire customization.
Who else thinks that there should be more muscle cars with blowers?
I was hyped up thinking that the 1969 Charger Daytona would have one but it doesn’t.
after the announcement of more customization in horizon 3. i was kinda happy after i thought about it for a while i felt like they werent going to do it in a way that had any depth, and i was right. its just the same old same old forza customization system which is good for the performance side of things, but for the visual side of things it doesnt exactly allow us to customize much. theres certain restrictions in the system that bother me. and lack of certain customization elements that make the cars look weird when you equip a body kit to them. these are just my UNREALISTIC request for the devs over at playground games which i know listen to the community just a little bit. and i thought id say things i want. no matter how un realistic it is. it will allow playground or turn 10 to make it exist next game.
what are some things you want from the customization? dont limit any requests let the devs know.
It pains me to see that they’re is still no offset customization in FH3. When I’m trying to stance a car, the wheels are so sunk in and it looks absolutely horrific. Sometimes I even drop the project because some cars look so bad. Ex: 2004 Subaru WRX STi, 2006 Evo 9, MAZDASPEED3, Ford Focus ST, and a bunch of other cars. Please add in the option to change offset!! We would greatly appreciate it!
An option for more horns and maybe sirens would be really nice. Another customization feature I would like to see added is the ability to take body panels off the car to make it look old and beat up. A “rust” paint option would be cool as well. And last the ability to switch out factory stock wheels would be nice because most cars come with multiple wheel (or rim) options that look amazing on the car but we can’t get them in the game. This is just my 2 cents but that’s what I’ve got.
