I’ve got over 80 in my error messages
In 24 hours since this thread was created its had 21 votes so almost a quarter of what the now fixed and closed thread had in 3 months!
Happens on all platforms so it’s not about what the users specs are, it’s in the games code, it for some reason when calling home base has a hiccup and will either stop responding within 15 seconds or if you wait around 4-5 minutes if it doesn’t crash it will suddenly start working and feel like it rushes through a couple of steps (very rarely does this happen) but when you go to start a race, Rivals or anything the damage has been done and it will crash at the loading screen going into an event, when that happens you hear the sound cut in and out and it will hard ctd with no error reporting sent to MS

Forza Motorsport Update 10 will be released in two phases. The first download includes the car and event content, as well as minor improvements to Catalunya and Hockenheim, an additional wing option for 18 cars, and Replay UI changes. This will be followed by a second download – release timing to be confirmed as soon as details are available – that includes the remaining features and fixes for Update 10
I can only hope that this means that the update to actually fix this issue hasn’t been pushed yet and that’s why we’re all still having this issue. Not sure why 2 separate updates were needed or why we don’t actually have a date for the second part of the update but I really hope this is why this issue hasn’t been resolved. I’m crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath…
The two part update was scrapped as they had an “issue” that was resolved and reverted to the single update. Since this was marked as fixed by someone in the Turn10 testing dept uncross your fingers and hold your breath till the next update because I doubt that they will be able to actually fix this issue or release a “hotfix” for it considering the last hotfix caused this bug
Same issue : crashing essentially when finishing a race or a series (not in multi).
I raised a ticket a while ago about this issue and the only thing they did is just close it and say they are investigating. 2 updates later, it hasn’t yet been fixed.

Game crashes even more after Update 10. Mostly after leaving multiplayer events!

I doubt the same people responsible for fixing bugs also design and add spoilers to the game

XSX is short for an Xbox Series X, not a PC
Anyways we are almost halfway back up to the amount of votes of the fixed and closed issue, in two days!
Now if only those votes were added to this thread. Isn’t the whole point of voting to say Hey I have this issue as well, have a vote and make it count, then wait for the outcome of which left a really sour taste.
Removing votes by closing topics sounds like something that would be done in a Russian election
After doing a few career races and exiting back to the main menu, the game closed on me.
Playing on a Series X and it’s the first time I had that specific type of crash.
The stability of the game seems to be getting worse.

I guess we’ll need a new thread every time sn update comes out that doesn’t fix a carry over problem…
I mean, who gets frustrated having to restart the game every single time you exit any event. What’s wrong with you!

If you’re on PC, you can avoid some CTDs by immediately tabbing out after exiting an event.
Like using the Windows key just before you exit back or as it’s in the loading screen cause I tried both and if it does get passed the loading screen lockup when you go to the next race or rivals it crashes on the way in like something has already affected the game
leave an event, once you see the loading screen hit ALT + TAB and wait a while and then tab back in the game. this works for me most of the time. (when I leave multiplayer events)

I’ll give it a shot next time I jump in
On PC, at the end of single-player events when going back to main menu. The loading screen freezes, and then I just Alt+F4. Not every time, only about 2/3rd of the time.
I just had it happening for the first time since Update 10, the annoying freeze in loadscreen after finishing an event. I finished the Open B Class series in career mode.
Somebody else already mentioned it starts happening in the later ones and yes that person was right.
Game takes me to a black screen after finishing a race. I can hear the crowd cheering in the background but nothing happens.
Other than that, loading wheel locks up after finishing a race and I end up back on the dashboard. Series X.
Still crashing for me me. I’m using XBX and Logitech peripherals.

Obviously not fixed. The audacity to close it and mark as fixed

Correct: Bug fixing requires more knowledge than Control C, Control V from the Horizon code.
