Same problem on my pc too, the game just closes after the splash screen. No error message.
Reinstalled the game, updated the graphics drivers, still same issue.
Read somewhere it’s an issue with AMD cards apparently

Mine is also an AMD card, but I’ve seen people with NVIDIA cards experiencing the same thing
Minimum requirements for FM is 6 Core
Release Notes from Update 3 contain:
- Improved detection of CPUs on PC to set the default quality preset. [1612579]
maybe your issue has something to do with that.

I have the same issue with the game. It won’t launch after update 3. I’ve tried everything to solve the issue but nothing works, clean install, reinstall all drivers pro&adrenaline, give permissions, erase logs, xbox insider, change account, change region, powershell solutions, texture pack, safe mode, etc etc etc. i’m sick of doing things I don’t have any idea what I’m doing. I shouldn’t need to be a hacker to play a game. I’ve been playing normally before update. I have an intel i5 13600kf and a 8GB AMD card, 32GB RAM. I’ve created a ticket but #525783 Lord Knight doesn’t want to reply.

The Lord Knight gave up after seeing how many Ticket’s he had. He wrote to me that he considers the case solved because they do not have a solution yet and are collecting information. But that was last week. From what I’ve seen, people are more pissed off on Steam.
I received the response to the ticket I made last night, here’s their response. I’m not going to do anything they asked because I don’t have patience and it probably won’t lead to anything, we’ll have to wait for the new update from AMD for sure.

You wrote exactly what everyone thinks, at least they should add a message saying they are sorry for the delay and are working on it. As always, there is silence and no topic. I don’t remember when I bought the game that there was any information about possible problems with AMD cards.

I’m also having problems for starting the game, but I have an Nvidia gpu, and the game was working just fine before the last update. Horizon 5 has the exact same problem.

ok, I didn’t know that those who have an Nvidia card are having problems, I also thought it was only on AMD cards. Unfortunately, there’s nothing to do, we have to wait for the next game update.

And I also didn’t know that the Horizon was having problems, I thought it was just motorsport. My Horizon is fine, it opens and runs well.

Hey, before i had my system upgraded to Ryzen 7700 the game started also with my old i7-4970k.
I played now couple of weeks with Ryzen7700 and AMD7800XT without crashes or start issues. But some days after update 3.0 the game doesnt start anymore. Screen stops at logging in window or before (window about epileptic warning …). I can hear the game sound in background but screen is stucked. After closing game and restart it, error message came up and say game is already running. And my Win11 taskmanager get stucked too. After trying a lot fixes and even renewing my Win11 the game still dont start.
Very very anoying… Meanwhile my Horizon 5 doesn’t start too anymore

I guess you have to wait for the januar update, with some luck they maybe know what they did wrong with update 3.
I don’t expect any hotfix due to the devs holiday.
When was the last time you started FH5?
My FH5 didn’t started after a few month not playing it, Error Code: 0x0
somehow something was wrong with the Install Location,
I had to reinstall it into the default folder to get it work.

I have same trouble here too, the game freeze on loading screen and nothing more.
RTX3080 drivers updated to last version, still no improvement.
Maybe new update on Forza will fix the issue.

I haven’t been able to play this on my PC since the game launched. I have an i7 with 32gb ram and a Nvidia 3080 so it’s not my pc specs. I’ve tried every suggestion I can find. I’ve tried after every update/patch and still nothing. It just crashes on launch with no error and nothing in the windows logs. I guess I’ll wait until the next patch.
This game used to be so solid. It’s shameful that MS allowed it to be released with so many stability issues.
