Corona Alps club challenge

I thought it was time for a new challenge , so here it is

I have been tinkering around with the Lotus Evora 124 for a while and as its more a grip than outright speed car i thought the Alps club circuit would be a fitting course to try out my tune . I have been getting 1:16:7xx with the tune but when i went to set a time for the challenge i managed a 1:16:950

I quickly put a paint job together for the car

The usual rules apply , clean laps only count , a replay must be posted for verifying time and both paint and tune must be used for the challenge . Both paint and tune are on my SF now , free of charge .

The prizes , 5M to anyone who beats the time set . There is no time limit on the challenge

Good luck and have fun . . .

I tried last night but could barely break into the 1:17s. Ugh. CFunk made it look too easy with his blazing 1:16.052.

Thanks for the car and comp Voldemortt.

Nacho

i can’t even get into the 1:17’s lol. Must try harder.
Nice tune and paint though.

I will give it a try tonight.

1:16.646 lap 4 replay is up in my SF.

I’ll give it a go.

As will I.

This might be a doozie. My wife and kids keep walking back and forth in front of the TV while I’m racing. They think they’re funny.

Phew , i was beginning to think the challenge would be a walk in the park for all you guys . Glad to hear it IS a challenge !!!

Finally! The family left and stopped pestering me and I ran a 1:15.935. There’s even more in it but it took me 34 laps to get that.

Time to warm up the engine… you know what I mean!!!

First run, 5 laps could only manage a 1:16.811. I’ve never ran well on the Alps tracks. Don’t know why.
Will run it again soon.
