I was looking and trying to set up my controller to have default controls but switch the clutch and brake buttons around to have a full functioning clutch on my game so i can ease out on the clutch instead of popping the clutch all the time i wish but the only way of doing it is to have the gas be either the A button or be on the right joystick of my controller also i have the xbox one elite controller which i tried all i can to get it to have RT gas and LT clutch and which i got it but my gas is only full throttle or no throttle when i use RT is there a way turn 10 could fix that or maybe make a new control set up to have same settings as default 1 but switch the LB and LT too have a fully functioning clutch and throttle control
The clutch in this game doesn’t function like that. It’s totally ok to pop the clutch. You definitely don’t want to have your brake be just on/off. You desperately need gradient braking more than the clutch. Especially if you’re running with ABS off, which is faster BTW.
The clutch does function like that on a couple controller setups but the problem is that you cant have it fully adjustable with a fully adjustable throttle and im more of a drifter so whenever i use the brakes it usually full lock anyways
Look at setup 9 and 12 on the controller settings in both forza 6 and horizon 2 and try the clutch it works like a real clutch peddal when its set to the left trigger
Ah… I can see that being useful for drifting. I don’t do that… at least not with any success. Good luck.
You might have to go with a wheel as your solution… I have the TX and I recommend it, though I don’t love FM6’s implementation of it. I tend to use a controller on FM6 and the wheel w PCARS.
One of the setups (I don’t remember which one) lets you use the Right Stick as your clutch while letting you keep your Brake as LT and Gas as RT. You just have to move the stick up to press in the clutch and it gives the function of a pedal.
