what is going on with the framerate. Does “hard reset” really work ?
Instalation itself was done in I thinkt 3 attempts, sucessfull in the end.
The menus take forever to load (at least it seems all cars load at once, without a lag when browsing).
I think sound glitch (“freezing” rpms, sound catching up to the on screen action etc) is fixed again but cannot confirm because I am too in shock with the framerate…
I don’t want to be unfair against the dev tean. But this update make the game one xbox one x worser than before. The engine are now too quiet and some textures on are looking blured. Than the framerate is unstable on a one x. The game was fine for me before.
But the audio is glitched now. Other opponent cars I can hear only when there are 1 meters away. From the ai or drivatars I hear now only wind as they pass and even that sometimes not. So they pass silent or nearly silent.
Framerate on 4k seems ok. Framerate on fullhd and 60fps is lagging sometimes. But I think that hast to do with the online mode.
I cant understand why they must change the x performance, when the issues are mainly on xbox one/s. But for the people who have no crashes anymore im happy.
The sound glitch where the the engine rev hangs is still there. Even when I stand the engine rev stays by max rev limit.
From garage to track it takes now up to 10 sec. and more.
The longer I played on performance mode I have now more sound glitches with engine sound. I made a video on my profile with a S5 Raptor. For now I had enough and I hope this will be fixed.
My game crashed at the main garage menu, had to restart. Still takes a long time to get into the My Cars menu. Sounds are still glitchy when on online session. I’m playing on Xbox One S. My game hasn’t crashed in the middle of the Forzathons yet since the update, so maybe that was fixed?
hopefully I can finally get the last barn find to show up… or go over 250+mph without the graphics going white and suddenly be brought to a complete stop
Although it may not be the trouble caused by this update, 2008 James Bond Edition Aston Martin DBS paint area is broken due to the update.
The top paint area deviates to the right greatly, and livery before the update is not applied correctly.
