Is it just an idea that the AI are terrible?
The AI in Horizon are psychopaths, and so far in Motorsport they’ve proven to be defeatist imbeciles.
Seems pretty terrible to me.
The AI in this game is pure trash but well I don’t really care, since i’ve already rushed the career I won’t use it anymore…

Ive played a few, but ive spent a lot of time in the Career mode and freeplay setting up races.
Pure trash compared to WHAT?! You are aware we are living in 2023 and AI is not actually self-aware, right?
You clearly have never played Assetto Corsa Competizione, a 5 years old game made by a handful of developers, you can raise your safety rating with it, guess why they disabled the safety rating playing with AI in FM?
Oh, Motorsport 2023’s AI can be just as homicidal as Horizon’s in some circumstances. They’ll ram you like they’re Pipo Derani and you’re a hapless rookie. And then you get the penalty for their malicious idiocy.

It’s interesting how you are still here. This game clearly rubs you the wrong way in EVERY way. Why are you wasting your time on something you clearly don’t like??
I spent money for it and i’ll fight every day to let the developers know where they can improve, why are you here instead of play?

No need to be an edgelord. You are probably right that the AI in ACC is a lot better, after all it only needs to work for GT3.
My biggest complaint about the game now is the shadow-bug. Some weather and time-of-day conditions make the shadows flicker like a NES-game. It’s an embarrassment. It’s funny how I still sink hours into this game.
I’m here because I had to take a crap between races…
So no crashes to desktop/dashboard for you? The embarassing thing is I still have after 25 days, I sometimes restart the game between races trying to take off guard…
Because I want it to be better, and it doesn’t get better if I act like the extra out of The Lego Movie you would rather all of us be. Everything Is Not Awesome, no matter how much you or other people on this forum try to will it into being, and that needs to be communicated loud, clear, and often until Turn 10 decides that they want to do something constructive about it.

Nobody said everything is awesome…I’m just curious to how you think saying everything is TERRIBLE all the time will fix anything. You seem to have forgotten that you must prioritize what you think is worst atm. The way you write seems to indicate that you absolutely hate this game. It’s tiring to read and it’s definitely CONSTRUCTIVE. That’s why I would appreciate people that don’t have constructive suggestions to move back to their respective hate-threads. Should be an easy curtesy to grant us who actually want the game to get better and succeed.

Not my best post, but “PURE TRASH”, the phrasing is just not very acurate, sir. How about “compared to ACC, Forza’s AI could use some more work”? The AI is a leap above FH5 so “trash” is not accurate or constructive.
To be fair…The advertising was “4K, 60 fps with ray-tracing”. This is my biggest complaint with the game and Turn 10. Don’t set the bar with trailers and promos and then lower it to 3/4 of the expectations you set.
And how do you rate an AI in 2023 compared to a 5 years old game like ACC? I can only say trash man…

Grids are hilariously bad, and not even a challenge on top levels.
Absolute joke… the AI here are vastly better at actually racing you…even if they do lean towards the meek.
The AI in those other games are basically just good at being rolling pylons that never get out of line and only stuff up the race lines. There is also zero penalties for just ramrodding them out of your way.
Oh they have rivals that will reciprocate… big deal, one good punt and they’re too far back to do anything to you anyway.
