Confused on Ranking System

I’m still relatively new Forza Horizon 4 (I haven’t played Horizon since the first one, I mainly stayed with Motorsport). I’m confused on the wristband colors. So I had a gold wristband but then I noticed it went back to a yellow one, and it has a star with a one under it next to it. Do the colors reset every 200 levels?? Or did I just lose all of my ranking like the perks with this update? Please help so I can understand. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Also, is it possible to win cars that come from seasonal playlists through a wheelspin? For example the BMW M3 GTR?

You prestieged at level 200. You’ll prestige again in another 300 levels to a star and 2, then another 400 levels and so on.

Thank you!

As far as I know it depends on whether the cars were in the game when it was released or were added post-release. If they were added post-release you can’t win them through a wheelspin.

In regards to player levels see post here:

In regards to exclusive vehicles previously awards in other playlist completion requirements:
You will notice the Porsche 914 is already back this series (I think in either week 3 or 4 of series 9, can’t remember off the top of my head) which was a reward vehicle in the first Festival Playlist. So they are already repeating previous exclusive playlist vehicles.

Curious why they felt it necessary to weird-up leveling by making you do a quick math problem to determine someone’s level. Why not just display the level, sans arithmetic? Like, had that been done before elsewhere in other games I wonder?
