Colourblind! GPS map impossible to see, please help.

Given that forza horizon 4 has tried to be inclusive of the colourblind with options in settings to try and improve colours, I believe they have massively missed the mark with regards to the GPS map in the bottom corner.

This is a huge oversight seeing as it’s impossible to play the game like this.

The only work around is to turn the breaking line and driving line on but this incures a penalty and stops the game looking like I simulation.

I shouldnt have to have a penalty of receiving less credits for a race just because I’m colourblind.

You have made an attempt to include the colourblind but have failed in a critical part of the game resulting in excluding us instead.

Was this game tested on the colourblind or just people who think they know what the condition means? I’d be happy to test for you in the future if it means I’m not let down so badly and ruins the most antisipated game yet. The only reason I own an xbox is because of forza and now I’m contemplating returning the game because this is just so unplayable.

Please please please can you switch the way point detection and roads to contrasting shades.

I’m not the only one who this is effecting as I have started to see complaints appearing on the Internet already.

I really hope this can be fixed.

Moderators, is there a particular contact within playground games that can assist with this?

While I support your cause I have no idea how you play this game without the braking/driving line. Open world games need the line IMO. The credit advantage to driving without the line is negligible

Open world games are ment to feel like the real experience of driving. Having huge arrows on the floor just takes away the experience of it looking as real as it a can look. It’s difficult for sure but it’s the only forza game that I have found to be impossible to see the GPS map and roads to follow.

I know I can’t be the only one.

Yt, cheers dude.

I don’t have FH4, but a HUGE +1 for this post based on any FH title. I don’t use a line in FM titles either, as I prefer to base my braking points on knowing the tracks.

The OP’s issue should be taken care of swiftly!
