Forza Motorsport and Color Blindness

Greetings.
Unfortunately, i have a color-blindness, i barely see difference between red-and green (if they have likealy hue’s, its kinda hard to see difference for me)
So;
ı just cannot see whether it goes red or green on the ‘‘breaking line’’ or ‘‘suggested line’’ or whatever that name it is.

Can you just gave us an option for color-blind mode?
Thanks.

Sorry for my bad english.

You could try just running the brake line on for now then the only time you see a line will be when you need to brake. Other than that if it’s not in the game by now(have not ever checked myself) it prob won’t make it onto FM6. Like I said though try with just braking line so you don’t need to tell the difference.

Wait, your color blind too?! Also I didn’t know the line was green… I thought it was white. Anyway I know some games have color blind options (such as Battlefront), and I personally would like to see a color blind option because I can’t tell green and brown apart (sometimes red too). So I think this would be a great idea, but sadly there might not be enough color blind people out there that would care about this feature.

Although I dont have any vision issues myself apart from being a glasses wearer a friend of mine is visually impaired (not colour blindness) and struggles with the racing/braking line particularly on tracks with lighter coloured tarmac such as Homestead. His vision is such that he needs the line on full all the time and racing games are one of the few genres he can manage to play.

The suggestion to use the braking line only is a good one but you may need to be aware that in the higher/faster classes of cars when racing at high speeds the braking line appears far too soon before the corner, in some cases its almost like the line is on full.

In my opinion things like accessability issues should be addressed in games more so than they are at present across the whole industry and its clear that some developers do better than others but I would have thought that a developer linked so closely with microsoft would have dealt with issues such as this and others already. Perhaps Turn 10 didnt realise it was a problem for some players and with luck it will be addressed in the near future.

I had raised the whole issue of colour blindness back in the FM4 days and personally feel the T10 folks haven’t considered this at all for FM5 & FM6. As well as braking line which used to more visible on earlier FM versions, the current gen speedo and rev counters need work as well as the brake/throttle levels, location of laptime and segment times that used to be permanent throughout a lap but now only show up briefly at the start of the lap. T10 needs to look back to FM4 for these aspects. Changes appear to have been made for the sake of showing off how whizz bang the new console was, rather than providing the driver with more useful information.

T10 - please provide us colour blind folks the option to adjust colours to suit our vision requirements. W10 provides us with custom layout colours, so the underlying capability exists.
